Apparently I don't understand what the word Brasserie means. Everything but one, had weird spices in it.
I ordered chicken pot pie and it was the strangest version ever. It had a little chicken (1 pt) and no veggie except mushrooms that I could find. The gravy was brown and tasted almost like Indian food or something.
Also had something on top "they" called a biscuit, but not like any biscuit I ever saw or tasted. Have no idea what it was made of.
My friend's quiche looked like it was deep fried because the outside was dark and hard. The eggplant sandwich looked good, but also was spicy. The shrimp fettichini was the only thing that was good. It's just we thought we were getting normal food and they turned it into something too different for my taste. I'm sure there are others that like it just fine, but you did ask what I thought.
I think they should say on the menu that their food is spicy. I would have gone to a Mexican restaurant if I wanted spicy.

The waitress was the best thing there. She was very nice, efficient and she put up with us with a smile.
Oh, and the sangria was good.

What set it apart from ordinary was outstanding table service; a creative and varied menu; and terrific culinary execution.

I was surprised that this restaurant is located in the Verdae community, but that was fine and allowed me to see the growth and progress in that area while driving through the neighborhood. The restaurant was nice, clean, and had a French feel about it. It was a busy lunch day, crowded, and noisy. So glad I made a reservation through Open Table. I had also requested a quiet table and I thought that would be impossible, but the hostess seated us in the back, which seemed like it could be closed off from the restaurant as a banquet room? I was greeted promptly after seating and I gave the drink order for myself and husband that was joining me in minutes and on a tight schedule. My husband arrived about 10 minutes later and we still waited at least another 5 or 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Our server was also taking care of a large party. My husband ordered the fried oyster po boy sandwich with fries and was delighted. I ordered the quiche, but they were out of the regular crusted one and I accepted the gluten free one. The quiche was okay, nothing special. That's about how I felt about the whole experience... okay, nothing special. But now I know! I'm sure it's a great addition to the community for the residents of Verdae.

We enjoyed a Sunday lunch/brunch at Stellas. We had GREAT service. To avoid the incredible noise level in the restaurant we requested the patio and it was delightful. Our food was good but I have to say, if Stellas would offer a Cobb Salad they would see me more often. Their salads are just not hearty enough.

...Stella's Southern Brasserie is nothing short of one of the top dining experiences in the South - we've yet to find any faults with this place...the atmosphere is casually elegant with a little flair of exciting fun, the staff sets the bar in promptness & professionalism that most other restaurants continue to try to achieve...the food is a grand masterpiece in culinary art that has few rivals in the Upstate & the South...my girlfriend and I always, always enjoy our date nights at Stella's - this evening she had the steak fritties & I the catfish...our food was served promptly & at the right temperature...and each plate was beautifully presented...and from the first bite to the last the flavors were amazing...thank you Stella's for another beautiful date night!!

Stella’s is always delicious. And the service is top notch. The wait staff knows the foods and I love when you ask their opinions, most likely they have tried the dish.
Our waitress, Hope, always goes above and beyond. And Management always friendly.

I have always thought Stella’s in Simpsonville was the best restaurant in Greenville and am thrilled to add that this new location is awesome.
The deco is energetic and the food is outstanding. Will definitely be going often.

We loved this place! The only thing I didn’t love was the noise level, but that seems to be the norm these days. The food and service were outstanding, and we’ll definitely return!

This was our first visit to Stella's. We had early reservations and were seated promptly. First let me say that their servers are all very good and seem to work together. Even though we had a primary server we noticed that several times during the evening other staff would stop by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We were there on a Saturday and it got very busy by 7, so the team approach worked well.
The food was uniformly very good. Started with the okra frites for the table which were right out of the fryer and very enjoyable. The breading was very light and gave just the right amount of crunch. Also tried their "fired rice" which was excellent. For entrees we tried two of the evening specials, a rack of lamb and pan roasted wreckfish. The lamb was perfectly cooked and was a large portion. It also came with a lamb "bbq" on the side that was really unusual and tasty. The wreckfish was obviously fresh and well prepared. The blue corn grits that accompanied it were particularly good, as were the fresh peaches. It may sound unusual, but it really worked.

We visit Greenville often and will definitely be back, as there were many other menu items we want to try.

We were a table of 4. The restaurant was fairly full
On the patio but not inside. We were on the patio. Most tables had been served. Our appetizers arrived quickly, as did our cocktails. But the main entree’s took forever and then all 4 of our meats were not cooked according to our requests. The wait staff were good but the food was not. We’ve had good meals there prior to this visit. We were hoping to impress our out of town guests, but we didn’t.

I appreciated the quiet conversation in the more secluded dining area; there is a more open area that host the bar/coffee area for those who like the camaraderie of a more bustling setting. There was a nice selection of special cocktails, wine, seafood, salad and entrees with friendly wait staff. Its in an off the beaten path nestled in a neighborhood setting which was an interesting placement for a restaurant as well. I enjoyed its ambience and clean & high end décor. Very nice atmosphere for professional and mature dining.

We ate there for our anniversary. The service was excellent. The server took the time to write out all the specials (my wife is deaf) and was very attentive to us during the meal. My wife had the fried chicken and it was excellent. I had the daily special of NC bass and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert, they prepared a very nice presentation of the special for the day (peach pie). All in all, an excellent choice. We will be back.

Enjoyable dining experience. Stella’s is every bit a brasserie—bright, airy, with a somewhat limited menu which changes seasonally. Drinks were good, service—friendly and helpful. Salads were fresh, artfully developed and tasty. The catfish was dependably good and the fried chicken sandwich was “over the top” good—large, juicy, perfectly cooked with a delicious, crispy crust! A somewhat “hidden” neighborhood gem.
On this visit the inside temperature was perfect. Quite improved over prior experiences with it being too cold. Will return.
