Stella Barra Pizzeria & Wine Bar - Hollywood
balsamic vinegar, breadcrumbs, parmesan
prime beef meatballs, tomato sauce, romesco, mozzarella
Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Cookie
We got the double cheese pizza and they over cooked it with brown bubbly cheese and burnt crust. Very disappointed. The first visit they made the pizza perfect. The second time not so much.
Always terrific pizza! Amazing crust. I miss the old kale salad with dates and almonds :(
The prosciutto pizza was delicious and our waitress fantastic.. A perfect location near the Arclight theatre,, The best option for after movie dining. Hip and modern!
Bring back the butternut squash pizza. Our favorite.
Good food. Good Service. Will go back again!
Hanging with friends...
My favorite place to eat before or after a show at the Arclight Hollywood!! Great pizzas and the BEST brussel sprouts :-)
I was happy that the host was happy I was their last reservation especially it being 9:30pm, the artichoke, calamari were especially greasy and cold us three were not going to chance it and order a meal especially if the crew aren’t happy to be there for only knows what would happen to our food before it arrived...
Sorry I have heard way too many horror stories about the crew not being happy to work late on a Friday night...
Anyways I’m willing to try agin since I live in the neighborhood...
Wanting to grab a quick bite before a show is great at Stella Barra Pizzeria. Price isn’t too expensive either by Hollywood/Sunset Blvd standards. Parking is right in back in the garage. Really good beer options and their rigatoni pasta with bolognese sauce is very tasty. We’lol def be back!
Had the new gluten-free crust and it was amazing!
Food was not good as I did not eat much. The pizza was the saving grace but tad expensive for what it was. The calamari was disgusting. Not sure why the menu was changed if the quality of food went down quite a bit. Server was great and I did get a email coupon that the mgr was nice enough to help me with. Won't return to eat which is shame is did enjoy going for the food.
Great pizza and don’t miss the Cookies for dessert!
The sausage pizza could have been better. The calamari was good.
Had a great dinner with 9 friends here last Sat night...Kyle the Mgr, Kate our Server and Vinny the Bartender were great at making sure we were enjoying our drinks and food and getting us everything we needed..we will all be back soon!
Awful service today and server was so rude
Great food, excellent service. I'm never a fan of TVs in a restaurant bar, but at least there are few enough that one can ignore them. Food better than expected.
The room is pleasant and open--industrial chic but with a lot of natural light and a few chandeliers for decoration--and the service was absolutely fine, but the food needs a lot of work. My husband's caccio e pepe pasta dish featured clumps of chewy cheese and a pool of water at the bottom of the bowl. I ordered a chopped salad with chicken. The chicken was a rubbery square of something that only vaguely resembled chicken. It was flavorless, tasted as if it had been cooked weeks in advance, and the kitchen didn't even take the trouble the cut it up. We were at the restaurant because we had tickets to a movie at the Arclight Theater next door and didn't want to be rushed. Unfortunately, Stella Barra's convenient location doesn't make up for the bad cooking.
Great place. I HIGHLY suggest this place. Coming from Chicago I expected the quality I get at all lettuce entertain you places. Boy we did and more. Manager Roy great guy chatted with us made us and our son feel special. Server Susan was awesome everything she suggested was outside what I would normally get and was on point and tasty.
Food and wine are both great. Service can be slow at times, but besides that everything else is amazing.
It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t a place I would rave about. Had the margarita pizza and it was kinda bland. The service was good and it was cute in there but a little loud.
Thanks for the fun and friendly staff and great easy location ! We had a lovely meal before the movies
very cool place and the food is great, my kids enjoyed the whole experience..
On New Year’s Day they have a pajama brunch - wear your PJs and get gift cards! Yummy food and comfortable place to eat.
Pizza was mediocre.Service was atrocious. We waited forever for our check and then another long time to pay. As in 45-60 mjnutes.
Didnt recall this restaurant being so poor.
damn good pizza... little noisy though, service seemed to be trying to get rid of us.
Just an amazing place to eat, drink and hang out whether you’re with a group or by yourself. Fantastic
I had been wanting to go to their location in Venice for the longest time, and since had tix to the Pantages, going to the Hollywood location made sense. They have happy hour from 4-6pm, and I would recommend that as the prices are more reasonable. I ordered their mushroom pizza, and the taste was OFF completely. It just tasted weird (the gruyere cheese was not good), and bland. If you decide to eat at Stella Barra, stick to the more basic pizzas (such as Margherita), as the chances of screwing up is less. Don't go for the more fancy sounding ones, as they won't be as you expect. I won't be visiting again.
They changed their pizza sauce. Why mess with a working formula. Tastes like pasta sauce now. Not good.
SB has really slipped. Our usual go-to menu items were disappointing and poorly prepared. The kitchen seems to have lost it's spark and the service was awful. A side of chicken on our chopped salad was rubbery and without flavor. The tomato jam pizza sauce was bland and lacked the intensity we've had before. All in all, a disappointing meal and we may not come back.
Great location for a decent meal before or after a movie at the Arclight. Food was very good (spicy wings were great, salted chocolate chip cookie was delicious). Service was friendly but a little slow.
Love the butternut squash pizza!!!!
This is a perfectly located and well thought out restaurant next to Arclight Hollywood. Food is exactly to be expected, ambience nice. Great place to meet friends for quick and easy, not to mention well priced, food and drinks in Hollywood before or after seeing a movie.
The best place to get food before seeing a movie. They have a limited selection of food, strictly just pizza and appetizers, but they do have one vegan pizza option and a great wine selection.
My favorite local spot for delicious food, amazing service and a friendly vibe. It’s my CHEERS!
Dinner was perfect. Nice lively ambience without being too loud. Delicious chopped salad, and the butternut squash pizza was the best pizza I’ve ever had. Light and savory. Delicious! I’ll be back.
Best pizza in town. Love the GF pizza crust and the new wine glasses rock. Thx!
Needed to grab a bite before going to watch a film at the Arclight and Stella Barra was right there. I appreciated that the menu was quite extensive with many different offerings to please the table. The food was very good - we had a caesar and pizza split between the red sauce Rossa and white sauce Avocado & Arugula Pesto and it was excellent. There are so many options in regards to toppings, crust, and flexibility to mix. Highly recommend the dipping sauce trio. Then, to top it off, we had a chocolate chip cookie at the end. Super pleased. Staff excellent! Wish I had one down the street from me.
Absolutely amazing. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. The speed of everything was excellent. 5 stars, would be 6 if I could.
Liked the spot. Solid good, service was good and vibe was great. Like the wall decor, lighting and playlist. Thanks again!
