   I decided take my family to this restaurant for Valentine's Day after hearing about how great the shrimp are. We had a reservation, but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Our waiter showed up rather quickly, so I thought that the wait would be worth it. He came back with our drink order and took our appetizer order. After waiting for about 20 minutes, only 2 out of 3 of our appetizers showed up. He brought our salads out (thank God we ordered salad....)but we still had to wait another hour for our dinner entrees to arrive. Our waiter kept apologizing for the slow service from the kitchen, but apparently this is a regular occurrence at this restaurant. I thought that maybe they had just overbooked for the night, but I have seen similar reviews on Facebook from others who had the same experience we did. The food was good, but it was not worth the wait or the price. I will never go back, and will tell everyone about my experience.

   Valentine's Day 2015 - If you want to make that "extra" buck by adding more tables and chairs into your dining rooms, PLEASE PLEASE add more wait staff and MOST CERTAINLY more cooks and stoves in your kitchen. We waited an hour and a half for our meal which arrived lukewarm at best. Almost had to sit in the lap of the lady at the next table because we were so crammed into the restaurant. Wait staff had trouble getting around all of the tables and chairs....it definitely was NOT romantic nor intimate for a memorable dinner with my spouse.....you could look around and see the same, disappointed look on everyone else's face.

   Ordered seared tuna rare and we waited almost an hour to get our food. When they finally served it, the tuna was medium and not seared. The manager and server were very apologetic and we didn't even have to pay due to the issues. This was a nice gesture on the part of the manager, but I would have much rather had my food in 25 minutes, cooked the way I ordered it, than have a free meal. I wasn't there for a free meal and I likely won't be returning very soon.

   We went for VA Beach Restaurant Week. We had never been, and didn't know it was a "nice" restaurant; the servers and service were reminiscent of Morton's (The Steakhouse). We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu (not sure if the dishes are part of their regular menu). Everything was delicious. The service was outstanding. The only complaint I have is that their tables are a bit too close to each other; if the lady at the table next to ours had turned her chair around, she would have been able to eat off of our table.

   Great restaurant, great food!!! Kind of "pricey" but you get what you pay for. A QUALITY RESTAURANT.

   The food and atmosphere at the restaurant were wonderful, and our server was one of the best we have had in a while anywhere. I got the impression that the people coming to eat are truly considered guests, and I am looking forward to returning.

   This was my second time going there. The food is always excellent. We ordered the Steinie Shrimp (which are huge) for an appetizer and the sauce that was paired with it was perfect! I ordered the trout for my main entree which was also good, but it was the whole fish with the head and skin on which could bother some people. For dessert I had a chocolate mousse which was light, but delicious.

    Steiny's famous fried shrimp was again the star of the evening. It's comforting to have a place to go that is this warmly inviting where the food is deliciously ocnsistent.
