About
We ordered an excellent flight of darks. Cookie porter, Solidarity stout, Squirrel brown, and 3 chainz triple. We recommend them all! They were surprisingly d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s --- each one of them!!
The house salad was equally delicious, especially with their homemade blue cheese dressing. Wowwy wow!! We'll go back just for the dressing. 😄
We also ordered the fish n chips. Perfectly crunchy and really well seasoned. The fries were unreal too, especially dipped into that tartar sauce. The whole experience was a really nice surprise. Thank you!
The brisket cigars are with the trip, and the pizza was good too.
We enjoyed the deviled eggs, the citrus salad and the tomato pie very much. The live music was an unexpected bonus!
The food is consistent here. Eggplant burger is super yummy! Fries were fresh and hot. Caesar salad was delicious! The wings were disappointing. Their own brew - the hazy IPA - I would have again! The server got confused when we asked that each dish come out on its own and we ended up getting all our food at once. Perhaps the kitchens fault as he did apologize. Anyway, nice people and I sure hope the keep an assortment of local brews available. Don’t bother with a printed beer menu - change it up! People sort of expect that now. We will be back.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. It is a fun place, great for kids, and nice environment. The food isn’t fantastic (crispy chicken sandwich is good, but is missing some sauce or something [chick-Fila sauce 😉]), very pricey for what you get ($17 for a [burrata] cheese pizza with thin, soggy, floppy crust), and the beer is NOT COLD! Also, I ordered a beer about 5 mins before others at my table, and they received theirs about 5 mins before I got mine.
We visited when they first opened and were not impressed. We thought we would try again, and came away with the same impression.
Celebrated my fathers 70th birthday and family in town. The football game was on so it was louder than usual. Service and foos were outstanding even though it was super busy.
First time going with my girl and her friend it was really good
First time in. Crazy noisy. Thinking because a game was going on. Besides that excellent food & service! They were soooo nice!
Service was not as good as we normally experience.
Outdoor seating was very nice!
Good beer and great food for a fun dinner out. Service could have been faster and more attentive (20+ minutes to get a beer; no communication on a hold up or checking in to see if we were ready to order), but diverse menu and delicious food make me want to recommend and return.
Great service and great food! A perfect place to catch up with our son. Thank you!
Good beer selection but boring menu. I had the salmon, a bit overcooked but served over a nice melange of sun dried tomatoes, spinach and white beans. The acoustics are loud, so not a good place if you want to converse. Service was slow, even though the place was practically empty.
The staff is outstanding with the right blend of knowledge, comfortable interaction, and enthusiasm. The food is fantastic, definately a step about pub food. And, the selection of beers and cocktails is outstanding.
Second time here. Even when the thermometer reads 90 degrees, the patio is so pleasant to enjoy a brew and food that complements the beer. Expect to return often.
Yesterday’s chicken on a Cobb salad with rubbery bacon and dressing from a jar - yum! Now just serve it with no smile or fun or personality of any kind and that was our meal. Not going back.
We really enjoyed the food! The waiter was extremely helpful and gave us tastes of beers we knew nothing about but wanted to sample. I'm definitely returning there.
This is a very nice neighborhood restaurant. They had live music which was nice and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I had a house salad with chicken which was okay. I would like to go back and order some more food to determine how good the food really is. I would definitely eat here again.
I love this place. The food is amazing. The staff are wonderful. The owners are great human beings. Thanks for all you do!
Good food, great service. Will be back, so happy we found you! Sincerely appreciate the on-site garden and bees on the rooftop!!!!!! Talk about local honey, fabulous idea.
The service is usually great, however the food is inconsistent.
Had a large family party of 12 for birthday. Staff was lovely and accommodating. Food- meh, nothing special. Beer was great and they had an excellent selection.
My first time at Steele & Hops and we were not disappointed! We ordered the signature cocktail and Seismic Beer, both were great. All of the apps and entres we ordered were also delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
First time dinning at Steele & Hops. We were looking for something new, and were pleasantly surprised. The overall experience was great. Attentive staff, wide variety of drink options, delicious appetizers, and delightfully pleasing entrees. And to put the cherry on top, wonderfully warm and doughy doughnuts covered in sugar and cinnamon. Everyone in our party agreed we would dine at Steele & Hops again.
First visit, but it won’t be the last. Patio seating was perfect at the end of a warm day. Strong menu offers variety, and the meal was really very good. Good proximity to SRCC for special events. We were completely satisfied.
We were seated in the side room and told that it would be quieter there then 10 minutes later a huge bridal rehearsal party came in and the noise level increased dramatically.
It was wonderful and the special that night was great. It was a pork chop with polenta. The drink special was a strawberry daiquiri punch. All was wonderful!
We had a party of 12 and service was great! They also did not charge us a cake cutting fee for baby shower cake. Gratuity was included but of course I doubled it due to the great service. Will go again with a large party
Good food and reasonable prices for the area but service was inattentive
Good place for a burger and beer. Nothing fancy just good food at a fair price
Food meh at best. Can't recommend. Drinks were good and service was good.
The food is insane.... everything was fresh and tasty... I would recommend everything you can not go wrong
Easter lunch with family. Service was great and food was ok.
We were seated nearly immediately which was great and within minutes we received waters followed by our drink orders within another few minutes. When the waiter arrived with the drinks he asked if we needed more time to order, to which we replied “just a couple more minutes “. However, I was pretty irritated since the waiter did not return until 25 minutes had passed and I was only able to order once I stopped him on his way to another table near by. Food came out within 10-15 minutes and as always was PHENOMENAL! They have really put together an amazing menu comprised of American fare infused with unique twists. Other than the annoying wait time to order, I’d still give me dining experience a 5/5!
Pineapple cider and beers were great.....food not so great....fries large and soggy!
This has been on our bucket list one of the best experiences we have ever had.
Only bad experience table next to us had phone on speaker phone talking loud and stupid.
It's a really cool place. Great location and ambience.
Great service, food and beer! We'll definitely be back
Attended this past Friday, 2/9/19, for a belated celebration with friends and family. Reservation was great and spot location was perfect. The live local music, Jeremy Gallegos, was an awesome addition to evening with everyone in our party enjoying! Looking forward to additional events and going back!
Outstanding experience! We will share with friends and we will return!
