Food was excellent as well as the service. Will definitely be back for another visit as this was our first time.
Hostess does not have an electronic check in device so she did it know what we meant by Open Table. Burrito was mostly rice. Good taste but needed more protein. Also, why give a side of rice when there is rice in the burrito???
It was just an OK experience. Run of the mill Mexican food and over priced drinks. It wasn’t horrible but nothing memorable either.
Enjoyable meal . I had the taco bowl. My husband had the fajitas. We were both pleased with the food and the service. (TVs available and the waitress changed the station for us). Adequate parking. Close to main roads.
First time. We chose “Mexican inspired” dishes and couldn’t evaluate whether any “authentic Mexican” are offered.
We were there for Sunday Lunch, just before Christmas. Crowd was light but growing by the time we left.
The space is large and nicely furnished and decorated. The room seems acoustically very live (potentially loud with a large crowd)
Service was polite but not particularly welcoming nor quick.
Very helpful waitress
The food was AWFUL. The chips were from a bag. The guacamole was from a tube that was not made there. The margarita’s were HORRIBLE!! They were low on tequila and HEAVY on sourness. I tried a regular and thought maybe a mango would be better. WRONG! I left it on the table. They even CHARGED for salsa. That too was HORRIBLE. This place is not worth your time or money. Taco Bell would have been a much better choice.
It was ok, Really loud and hard to have conversation with my party!
Great food. Friendly waitstaff . Already planning to go back
Our Server was excellent. He was personable and efficient.
The restaurant is modern and clean but extremely loud. I could not hear the person sitting across the table from me. You have to pay for basic chips and salsa; the salsa was good, the chips were chewy. The menu is interesting; however, the food was bland, lukewarm and very salty. Service was really awful and our waitress went MIA for about 20 minutes while we were waiting for our check. I used to wait tables and the staff (at least our waitress) needs basic training. A slight smile or even a sign that we were not a huge imposition would have helped. She got one order wrong, never checked on us and when she visited our table she never removed any dirty dishes, rather after she delivered the check, she stacked every plate on the table in front of us - we never did receive all our silverware; still waiting for knives until after dinner was over, never saw a spoon for the iced tea. The chicken fajita meat was well seasoned (on the salty side) but the tortillas that they provide for the fajitas are so small - about the size of a small hamburger bun - that all you can fit is 1 piece of chicken and a little lettuce and cheese; plus, you have to pay extra for rice. I was really looking forward to a new option for Mexican food - perhaps I will try again in about 6 months.
They have a fruit fly problem. Service was subpar but the food was good
young attentive servers, good out door seating . games available , noisy, kid friendly, go for the happy hour drink specials but eat else where because the food is Americanized average texmex.
We were seated at a dinner table.
Waitress stopped by 3 separate times and said, I'll be right back.
Food wasn't even warm, forget about hot.
Enjoyed the food. The service was acceptable. The restaurant is very noisy. You cannot hold a conversation with the person across the table. We noted that it was a birthday dinner when the reservation was made online. There was no acknowledgement of the birthday whatsoever.
We had a brunch reservation for 8 people at the new Steel Cactus. It was 10:30 a.m. We were immediately told they had a “modified” brunch menu meaning only 3 brunch items rather than the dozen or so advertised. Side fish portions are too small. Chorizo was bland taco meat. Very disappointing.
We came for brunch on the day after their grand opening. We ordered the churro french toast and breakfast burrito. Both entrees came with scrambled eggs and potatoes. The food was excellent. We also had an order of build your own tacos. They were also quite tasty. Since the place was new, it was very quiet, but that may change with some time. Plenty of free parking in their own lot.
Food was ok, took an hour and came out cold but it was grand opening and they were overwhelmed. Great atmosphere and our waitress was friendly and nice.
