Steadfast brings an innovative, seasonal, chef-driven restaurant concept from The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group. Executive Chef Ender Oktayuren and our James Beard Semi Finalist Pastry Chef Christopher Teixeira, both formerly of two Michelin starred Sixteen, join to provide an adventurous menu blending seasonality and creativity with balanced characteristics of the two talented chefs. The food was absolutely incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the service was really good. It was a little louder than we expected, but other than that, it was fantastic.

My husband and I were looking for a restaurant near Hamilton where we hadn't been before to celebrate our anniversary before going to the show. We were not disappointed with Steadfast. We split a small bread basket and the charcuterie & cheese board which they are known for. We loved every offering in both of those. Then he had the scallops while I had the halibut. Both were different preparations than we had eaten before and we loved them. The scallops had a green curry sauce which had a delicious flavor, but not too spicy for me (of course I had to taste). My halibut had a light breading and yummy flavors all around. We split the mango beignets which were perfect! Our waiter, Luis, was on point.
The only snafu was that we received our small bread with the variety of spreads, then our main course came out. We thought that was a little weird since we were thinking we'd get the charcuterie before our main dish. Luis was surprised when he found this out, but we decided since the restaurant was known for the charcuterie we would have it for dessert. Then since we still had time and a little room, we ordered the beignets as well!
We would love to take our college age boys here sometime because we think they'd enjoy it as well. They also have a tasting menu that we'd love to try, but we felt like we would want to spend more time than what we had.

Conveniently located in central loop, nice atmosphere and decent food. A little pricey for what is offered and $8 for the ‘artisan bread’ (4 or 5 roles with a few different spreads) is over the top. Fresh baked bread is nice, but not worth that up charge! Also, asked for salad as side and they brought fries - obviously not major, but wasn’t that crowded and the waiter didn’t notice or check back to ask, so attention to detail could be better. Would go back, but may not be my top choice based on better, comparable options in the area.

My friend and I enjoyed very nice salads on a beautiful summer day. I prefer outdoor seating when the weather permits, and this was quite delightful, especially since we were deep in the financial district where such options are not as abundant. We each ordered salmon to top our salad and it was PERFECTLY prepared.

Four friends had a really wonderful dinner. We shared severe appetizers and they were all wonderful, but the best, by far, was the caviar. Each dish was prepared with care and attention. This restaurant will not disappoint!

We went on a Saturday and it was quiet and basically dead. We did the tasting menu and were surprised by how mediocre some of the food was and how some ideas the chef had were not so great. We had a good laugh at some of the courses. The scallop was very good, as was the cheese course and dessert. None of it blew our minds.

Excellent service and accommodating wait staff. The entrees we ordered were very good. A very cozy and warm atmosphere on a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon before attending the opera.

Loved the location; a simple menu of great entrees. We requested to sit near the kitchen and like to see the "action". This also lets us spy on other entrees as they pass. everything we saw looked great. The 3 of us opted for the 5 course tasting menu and everything was fresh, creatively presented and had great flavors. An understated but delicious favorite was the burrata dish, served with a black rice curry curd, some fresh peas and an interesting cube of bread where we chiseled open the outter crouton crust with a fork and knife-- revealing a tender delicious soft baked center. Note: The tasting menu is an "all in" affair; meaning everyone at your table must order it. I was a little dissapointed to learn the same policy applies if you order the wine pairing. We had a non wine drinker with our party of 3, and this eliminated the option........and the extra $$ they could have made. At another fine dining restaraunt, they have a non alchoholic pairing of very clever drinks and teas that impressed us; mgmt. might want to explore some flexibility in that regard. To see an outstanding example of a non-alchoholic drink pairing, check out "oriole". Anyway, the dinner was really great, except for the bump regarding wine pairing.

Stopped into Steadfast after walking past it on the way to and from the office a bunch of times. Had a lovely glass of rose and very unexpectedly delicious piece of salmon. My boyfriend ordered the scallops which were even better than my salmon! I was a bit intimidated by the menu at first, but had a truly great meal. We will definitely be back

This was our second time at Steadfast. The food is very good, but there isn't much variety (no salads for example). The charcuterie and breads are great. We split a steak that was supposed to be medium but was medium rare and tough. The service was very good. Not sure why we (3 people) were seated at a table for six when there were several empty tables (that never filled). Overall, the food is heavy and fairly salty. The ambiance is lovely and the service is very good.

Loved this place, our main course was delicious and HOT, not spicy hot but fresh made hot. We started with the Ahi tuna and the large bread plate. The timing between courses was perfect, no rushing, a nice leisurely pace where we were able to enjoy our conversation. I had the sea scallops with a curry sauce and black rice. The flavor blend was exquisite and burst in the mouth, making you look forward to the next bite. My husband had the King salmon, again a remarkable blend of flavor and perfectly cooked fish. I could go on, but needless to say I would highly recommend giving this establishment a try😋

Somewhat overpriced. For example $25 for a small charcuterie board and then an additional $8 for bread to with it. Nice food though, but can’t help feeling slightly taken for a ride.

The food was not worth the price. My omelette was ham and mushroom, but I couldn't find much filling. The eggs were rubbery. There was nothing on the plate, totally bare. A piece of toast would have been welcome. My husband had biscuits and sausage gravy-not much flavor. I won't go there again.

I think this restaurant is underestimated given its hotel lobby location. Farm to table menu is delicious and evolving. In house baking make s bread service and esert worth saving calories for. Proximity to business district and Hamilton makes it bilingual in business and pleasure.
