Great food & a good time.

We always enjoy our visits to State Fare! The corn chowder was AMAZING. Great location, great food and great service. Thank you also......for accommodating our request to sit inside. We will be back!

Our waitress was very hospitable and timely!

We were celebrating Grandma's birthday. She has a walker. We could not find a handicap entrance so she had to go up the 2 stairs to the entrance. We ate inside. Food was very good. Malik was our server. He was very busy I am sure due to low staff. He was covering tables inside and outside. We had to track him down a few times, but he did a pretty good job. The noise was definitely a little loud, especially as the night went on. When we left it was open mic night outside. Comedians from what we heard. Some pretty foul language being used, so it was definitely time for us to go. I would eat here again, but with a different group of people.

Service was great. Food was good. We were distressed to hear from server that were new menu items that staff had not had opportunities to taste as management makes them pay for everything.

The place is lovely!!! Everything was perfect. The only thing I could say is that I wish they had more food options, but other than that it was nice!

The food was great. If you are interested in live music, then definitely sit outside

State Fare never disappoints. The food and service were outstanding.

Plenty of outdoor seating. Lunch was great………nice service and very fresh and plentiful salad with grilled chicken. I would definitely return!

The outdoor seating is great. Staff were polite and gave good service. The food was a bit bland, but well presented and good overall.

I enjoyed the food at State Fare. Our waiter I believe named Steve was attentive and checked back to see if we needed anything.
We did not have to wait to be seated, my only complaint was that I felt we could have been separated a little more since we were indoors and it was not crowded at that time of the morning.
Otherwise, we had a great experience.

We sat outside on the patio and while the music was nice, the noise volume was more bar level than restauraunt level. We sat as far away as possible and still could not hear our conversations at our table, despite yelling. This really defeated the point of our going out to dinner with friends, trying to catch up.

Tried the twisted turkey sandwich ~ delicious! Thank you, also, to our very friendly and patient waitress. We had a very pleasant lunch!

Overall good experience. Tables under tent a little too close together for comfort in COVID times.

There were 5 of us in my party and we ate on the patio. Three of my group had never eaten at State Fare before. We all really enjoyed our meal and our waiter was personable and efficient. There was a wonderful variety to choose from the menu and one person in my group was a vegetarian and was thrilled with several great choices.

It has a wonderful ambience if you sit outside on a nice cool evening. The food came fast and was delicious and the price was very fair! Friendly staff. I can see why this place is always busy.

Was good service.. only had a issue is when the food server brought the food the way she acknowledge the food on the plate as if it was nasty.

This was a lovely breakfast outside on State Fare's patio. The food was delicious and the service was good. The prices were as expected, a bit pricey as most things are these days. My only complaint is that the diet coke was so flat, I couldn't drink it. I would understand if it was just a one-time thing, but I've eaten at State Fare 4 times, months apart, and the diet coke is always flat. I complained about it the first two times, and even spoke to the bartender about it. But I guess they're not that interested in the happiness of the diet coke drinkers. As that's one of the only things I can drink, it's pretty disappointing to me when it's not good. But otherwise, everything was great.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Love the temporary eating under the tents in the parking lot. Service has allot to be desired. Poor is more like the word.

The service last time I went was excellent! This time was terrible. I don’t know what the difference was but i was taking friends that had never been, and luckily the food being good was the redeeming factor.

Pleasant first time. Seated quickly, service and food good. Not too noisy, aside from loud adjacent table.

Had to wait for someone to wait on us because "Rob" decided he didn't want to wait on us. This was our second time and no more impressed. If I go back it will be for the band last night.

Danielle was very accommodating and friendly as our server.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER !
Worse experience EVER!!!! The best thing about this place is it’s close and the mimosa are bottomless and cheap but I’ve gotten better service at ihop !! They literally had me and my gf sitting there for 20 mins before anyone actually came and greeted us and i made a reservation ! Then a couple came in after us and was served before us at that point we were going to ask for management because it was absolutely ridiculous! Then about 5 mins later a waitress comes over and tells us our table was in limbo WTF …. Why in the hell would you come over there and state basically nobody wanted our table at this point i don’t know if it was because me and my girlfriend are aprt of the lgbtq community or what . The food takes forever to come out my girlfriend order a poached egg and i guess overcooking is what they do best there besides the lack of flavor the food has . If you want good service and a great brunch i suggest grill arc in Columbia the service is great !! But this place needs to shut down and retrain the staff INCLUDING MANAGEMENT !

Limited menu but food is pretty good. Service is good, as well, but there was a live performance the night we were there and the music was a bit too loud. Nice place but my first time there was a better experience.

Dinner on a Tuesday evening at a high top table outside at State Fare was marvelous! We were seated quickly with a reservation. I had the scrumptious chicken salad on a gf bun with coleslaw. My friend had grilled salmon on a ciabatta roll with a generous serving of grilled brussel sprouts. She said her meal was the best ever. Gabby, our server, greeted us with a smile, adeptly took our order, and catered to all of our needs. I highly recommend State Fare on a weekday evening seated outside with Gabby as the server to everyone!

The food was very good and the service was great. I would go again.

For all the hype and people we’ve seen here it was a let down. Food was okay and nothing spectacular.

My first visit to State Fare for lunch today was a real treat! All employees were friendly & our server, Gabby, was extremely accommodating (we moved 2x because the very friendly lunch DJ initially played music too loud for our tastes). Menu item contents are clearly explained on the contactless menu. Our special food requests due to food allergies were served correctly and with a smile. We will definitely return!

Came for my 21st birthday with a bunch of friends. We did bottomless brunch and had a blast. $15 for bottomless mimosas, crushes and bloody mary’s. I have the Steve O for breakfast. All the food on the table was delicious a few got chicken and waffles, some banana fosters french toast, crab dip, and chicken biscuits. Our waitress was great and was very attentive. Highly recommend.
