   A great variety of flavors with numerous choices. Small plates are a great way to taste many dishes and Star Noodle does a great job in that regard.

   This was about our 14th dinner at Star Noodle. Dining here has become unremarkable. We live on Maui part of the year. Though our server was good and fairly attentive, we never received the Dim Sum we ordered, even after he had initally checked back with us to see if it had arrived. After the meal, we had to remind him that the dim sum never arrived which he profusely apologized. Later he returned to explain she Sous Chef was new and had planned to come to our table and apologize to us, but didn't. We are not sure why the server mentioned this. We were not expecting an apology from the sous chef. The whole experience was bazaar. As with most fine dining restaurants on Maui, meals are pricey - this is the norm. However the portions at Star Noodle are quite small, much like Spanish tapas - small plates. Each noodle dish is about 1 cup of noodles with 2 shrimp or scallops at about $21. What is great is that you get to try lots of dishes - some flavorful, some not. The downside is you have to order lots of small plates to get a full meal. I don't think we will be returning in the future.

   Sitting at the bar was great. Staff was wonderfully attentive despite being very busy. Definitely recommend.

   Star Noodle not tasteful dish, quality or portion as before new location. Initial restaurant was better. Larger portions, food more complex in taste. Service was standard, not friendly seemed rushed and annoyed.

   Was a wonderful dinner. As it is a share experience, we all chose a few dishes, and were not disappointed. Even ordered a few twice as so good. Pear cocktail and garlic noodles are our star favorites. Already have another booking for later in our trip :)

   Absolutely outstanding food and great service. My most favorite dinner in Maui this trip (and we’ve been coming annually for 20 years). Enjoyed so much and will definitely return! Love your new updated location in an old favorite spot on the ocean!

    My favorite in Lahaina always. I’d say portions are a little smaller than 4 years ago, and prices a little higher, especially drinks. I suppose this is normal for the times. The new location and view are better from all tables
