   We use Star and Dragon regularly for family dinners with young grandkids. Staff are always great but food can be hit and miss… In our case seafood club was great as were the salads, two entrees of crabcakes were not great, current crab cake product is mostly potato…

   We came to the Star and Dragon with our family and grandchildren especially for the Friday night kids buffet which is in the RVYC calendar. We arrived to no buffet set up and the servers didn’t know why so they had to make some calls and we then told there hadn’t been enough reservations that evening for them to serve the buffet. This is totally unacceptable but we would have understood if we had been told in advance. I made a call to the food and beverage manager but have not received a call back. This was disappointing to our grandchildren who love to come to the buffet. The servers did their best to accommodate us which was appreciated.

   Service took forever. Server got 2 different member numbers and was instructed what goes on which and there was major confusion at the end we had to wait 15 min to get a copy of the receipt. Took 20 min to get a drink order in then some people waited 20 min to get theirs Overall not good service

   Staff went above and beyond! The weather brightened up and we moved from inside to outside with our group of 16. they helped, moved tables around got us blankets and were just super nice. Thank you again for helping us making the graduation day for our grade 7 girls so special!

    A bit understaffed and we had to wait from time to time for the waitress especially if sitting outdoors Orders also came a tad slow but it wasn't too bad when the weather was nice and view was spectacular.
