Amazing must go when in Hawaii
It was my first time eating there and I thought the food was excellent. I ordered the Beef Wellington and at first I thought the serving was small, but it turned out to be just right.
Relaxing atmosphere. Outstanding food and service. Comfortable separation from other parties.
The food and service were excellent. I love all the extras Stage does…complimentary appetizer, sorbet to cleanse your palate and a delicious piece of chocolate at the end. Really appreciated our waiter Brett’s knowledge and suggestions on the menu. He was attentive and timing in bringing our plates was perfect. And absolute best desserts in town!
Good experience, just a very limited menu!
Celebrations deserve all of the above- Value, Ambience, Service, Food, Experience for it to be rated 5 stars. This is why I frequent Stage Restaurant and chose to dine there on November 17.
I made a reservation for a special occasion- a birthday celebration!
What a way to celebrate…. this 5 star level dining experience was amazing! Without going into too much details, I have never been disappointed so I highly recommend Stage if you want to enjoy a delicious meal, with a nicely decorated ambiance, with excellent service at a reasonable price. The service is top notch and they go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is enjoyable.
Thank you to the Team at Stage Restaurant, especially Joy, Sous Chef, for making the night so awesome!
We had a wonderful time for my birthday dinner. The ambience was beautiful, the music was soft and nice and the food was extraordinary good.
We had the goat cheese salad, mushroom with balsamic reduction, crispy skin salmon and a delicious lilikoi creamsicle.
Don't forget to order a wine flight and also some sangria!
The service was slow. We waited for 2 hours for our food. When it arrived it was cold. The food was not tasty and it was very disappointing and not as good as previous visits.
My birthday dinner was excellent. Compliment birthday cake was the best pumpkin spice cake I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.
Elegant surroundings. Exemplary service. Excellent food.
They seemed to be short staffed, it took over 15 minutes just to get desert out. The food was also sub par for what was advertised. The drinks were definitely the best part.
Great service. Very accommodating. I didn’t feel rushed. One of the best nights
Great service and great food
First time. The food and the service above expectations. Will return.
The restaurant is very classy. Service was excellent. Food was fabulous.
It's been a while since we've eaten at Stage. All I can say is Excellent! The food was great and so was the service. We waited a while before someone came to take our order, but it was fine. Once we placed an order, the food came out quick. We though we would bring left over. Instead we ate everything we ordered and had some room for dessert.
It had been a while since we were last there and we all agreed that it was better than ever - and we always thought it was great. The salmon dishes were outstanding and the pork chop was the juiciest most flavorful chop I’ve ever had. We also tried the caprese special and enjoyed that too. We had forgotten about the fun amuse bouche course. All in all it was a wonderful evening.
The only thing we thought could be improved was the reservation process. We were seated in the wine bar which we wouldn’t have minded but we were there for the Stage menu and they couldn’t serve that menu in the wine bar. Those two reservations need to be separate to avoid confusion or you need to allow either menu is the wine bar.
Food is amazing
Great cocktails and wine flights. Wonderful service.
Escargot was amazing, definitely recommend for a nice classy celebration!
1 word Amazing
From the atmosphere, to the service and food, everything was excellent!! We can’t say enough amazing things about our experience there. The staff really put in the care and compassion to make each diner’s experience an unforgettable one. We will definitely be coming back again and recommending to all of our family and friends.
Fancy little dinner spot with an incredible chef and wait staff
Excellent service.the waiter was excellent, very attentive and so knowledgeable about everything on the menu.
Unbelievable. Such a unique and cool setting that’s only outdone by the food.
Amazing experience from the moment we were greeted. The seating was awesome and intimate. The table is kind of for the seating for me, but manageable. The food was prepared perfectly. Although I had the New York strip, the mushrooms and sauce brought the entree to life. Our waiter Greg was very knowledgeable of the menu and which wines would pair well. Let's not forget about the Gnocchi with potatoes and mushroom as an appetizer and pumpkin spice crumble cake for dessert are must have.
Our world food tour continued at The Stage. Wow, I hadn’t been here since it opened and the décor is much nicer; less eclectic but classier, more tasteful than the stark black and white of the original. There were so many design elements to look at … we loved the décor!
It took a while but, with the help of our waiter, we ordered a 2015 Clos des Cornieres from Santenay; about three miles southwest of Puligny-Montrachet. A pinot noir, it was ruby colored with hints of licorice. It opened up after an hour into a very drinkable wine.
We were served a starter in a spoon; it was half a cherry tomato with I can’t describe what was atop; whatever it was, it was very tasty and refreshing. It was served with a rectangle of bread with three dollops of something else I can’t describe. We ordered the Salmon Tataki and the Escargot to start. The salmon was beautiful; decorated with ikura and microgreens. The escargot was served on a platter atop a cauliflower cream and a green reduction of unknown origin. It was served with a large portion of a sliced, but still whole, baguette. We were served an amuse bouche; similar to green tea ice cream; it was a perfect cleanser.
Our entrees were the Duck Breast and the Beef Wellington. The duck was served as four inch thick pieces atop a kabocha puree with pieces of asparagus and a demi glace sauce. The Wellington was served cut in half with mushrooms and asparagus and a demi glace sauce. The skin of the duck was a little tough but everything else was great. The Wellington was perfectly cooked but I wanted a touch more duxelles and slightly flakier puff pastry.
We split a Kona Coffee Pie; it was so delicious but very rich. I had a cup of coffee, served in a Frieling French Press; it was too light for my palate.
In summary, the décor and the ambiance is great; the food is very good, the service was excellent and I was surprised at the bill … I’ve spent much more and have received much less than our time at The Stage. We loved it!
A cute low key stop. Loved the ambiance and setting. Met a friend for drinks and appetizers. Will definitely be back!
Phenomenal food, atmosphere and service! Love Stage!
it was very good menu for wine tasting.
Everything is so good!
Ousting, best gourmet food on the Island.
Quite cool sophisticated.
4-stars on food quality and ambiance. We used to dine at Stage pre-Covid and were happy to have been able to return last night. Had a good time but would like to suggest more frequent check-ins from the waiter and a little more bread with the escargot as that was disproportionate. The waiter did well in his recommendations. Mahalo for a memorable evening.
