   Fabulous food. Service was fab and really friendly. Relaxed open air seats on pavement was perfect for sunny evening. Highly recommend it

   Another spectacular meal at Stage, never disappoints. Took ‘Foodie’ pals who live in Bristol- they were very impressed!

   Outstanding experience from beginning to end! The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The drink flight paired perfectly with all dishes and completed the experience. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. I have only slightly marked down service due to feeling rushed - I was having to work very hard to finish the drinks before the next dishes arrived. It would’ve been better if the drinks were smaller or if more time was allowed between courses. However, we had an amazing time and we will certainly be returning!

   Incredible food served in an informal setting but with very knowledgeable staff. The whole evening was a delight.

   This was my third visit to Stage and we dined as a party of four in the 6-8pm sitting. The food was delicious and innovative as always but compared to the previous two visits the service wasn't quite as smooth and personable as it had been before, hence four not five stars. This time the service felt more rushed, with plates being cleared away whilst members of the group were still eating and it was clear they wanted us in/out asap to ready the table for the next sitting at 8pm, despite the speed of our meal being dictated by the restaurant and the timings they chose to bring the food out to us. We still had a really lovely time but it wasn't quite as shiny an experience as before.

   Second time eating here and even better than the first. So exciting that this is local to us. Lacto-plums and pickled grapes…prepared to be blown away by the skill of these chefs!

   One of my favourite dining experiences in Exeter, the seasonal changing menu and the surprise aspect of it means it’s a restaurant that I look forward to returning to in the near future to have a new experience hopefully as equally good as this one. Front of house were friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and were a credit to the business

   Fantastic as always. They set menu and thats always a surprise. 4 courses and the optional drinks flight. We have had the last few visits and really adds to the experience. The bread is something special. Thoroughly recommend Stage always delivers. We book for special occasions and have always come away having the best time A proper little gem. May need to book well in advance as reputation proceeds it. Will be booking again soon

    Love Stage! Just the best place to eat in Exeter. Great food, relaxed atmosphere and just a joy to visit.
