    We ordered what we thought was a sensation salad. We were served a Caesar salad. Ordered one crab cake. They charged $27 for one crab cake. The brunch special for the day included eggs, biscuit, etc and it was $30. I believe we were overcharged for the crab cases. The total for 2 for 2 different people was $55.

    This is an excellent restaurant and I would highly recommend it! It is adult oriented, so probably not the best place to take any children. Delicious food with great atmosphere and impeccable decorations all over the Inn to admire. It’s really fun to sit out on the front porch with a glass of wine or any drink to enjoy the wonderful landscaping under the huge old oak trees. I have taken many of my friends there and all of them just love it too. It’s by far the nicest most enjoyable restaurant in St Francisville.

    Beautiful setting, prompt, attentive service and good food. The menu rotates, classics with a southern twist.

    As someone born local to the area but traveling around the world, the cocktails were top notch and the setting was perfect. The service and entrees fell flat. The prices were culinary experience prices with the food tasting like I spend a few extra minutes in my own home kitchen (I do love to cook!) The soup starter was fantastic and balanced. But the entrees were so flat that the small portions did not even leave me wanting more or my wife either. We expected to order desert but the waitress was so slow and absent that we passed when she finally made her way back around. Also when you can’t pronounce the special and can’t explain it that already starts the experience off bad. I recommend trying the cocktails and they are top notch but eating here is not up to the standard of the prices or the ambiance that the restaurant offers.
