Food and wine are good but I really want to recognize our server, Sam. He was one of the best servers I've had in a long time. He was friendly and attentive to our needs. He did a great job!

Overall, nice dining experience. Bought the bottle of wine that was featured at the tasting. Nice staff, great service. Would dine there again!

I wrote an earlier review but for the wrong restaurant where we were served the wrong food. I hope this review can correct that mistake! My husband and I had a delicious meal at D.H. Lescombes. Our server, Sam, was lovely and attentive. I had Isabelle’s chicken salad which was sooo good consisting of two generous scoops of tasty chicken salad on a bed of greens with nuts and cranberries! My husband enjoyed his meatloaf, mashed potatoes and veggies. Everything seemed very fresh! We were very lucky to have this restaurant just a short walk from our Hampton Inn in Alamogordo!

The service was outstanding; however, I had to return my steak. I ordered medium rare and the steak was between medium and medium well. The replacement steak was also overcooked. The manager did not charge us for the steak and visited our table multiple times to ensure our happiness with the quality of the food. We eat here on a regular basis and this was the first time I had issues with how the food was cooked.

The reasonable food prices combined with the reasonable wine prices makes for a keeper! We will make an effort to return when we pass though NM again! Our server, Dino was also very knowlegable and entertaining! Thank you!

The appetizer was fantastic. We shared it and it was still a lot. Our dinners were okay but I think they were sitting for awhile before served to us. My meatloaf and veggies were like warm. My husbands pasta looked like it it had been sitting. It was not very hot.
