The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.

    Football blaring from every side of the place. Couldn’t talk. Food was cold and tasteless. Very disappointing experience. Hoping for a nice dinner out to catch up with friends.

    We had a really great memorable time for our daughter's 21st birthday family celebration. The venue allowed us to decorate the stables we had booked for 20 people (2 tables of 10) and were so helpful storing the brithday cake we had brought with us, and delivered it to us when we were ready. Highly recommend this venue, staff were so polite, the service was great - a little slow in getting the drinks out via table service, but the venue was fully booked and staff were run off their feet, we were able to order drinks at the bar, so everyone was happy. Food was great, easy to order and came out quickly. The addition of cocktails and other beer and wine alternatives meant that all guests were catered for. Love St Andrews Brewery and look forward to going again.

    We were told to order our drinks through the QR code on the table (not all the drinks were on the QR code). The QR codes are a total waste of time. If you paying your staff then let them take all of the orders or have all the food and drink items in the QR code. We had to go to the bar to order our drinks. Which had a queue of people doing the same thing. The waitress told us that she would come to the table to take our order, which she took a very long time to do. We spent a lot of time trying to find her so we could order. The brewery wasn’t that busy either.

    Unfortunately it was a very cold wet day we were booked inside but there was no wood for the fireplace so it was very cold. The food and service was good and we do enjoy the ambience of the place! The menu is good but quite restricted. Would love to see more salad and maybe even a Parma?

    A great experience. We were visiting from country NSW and lunch at St Andrew’s Brewery has been the highlight of our trip. We were concerned about the cold windy weather but our outdoor setting was warm and comfortable with a great ambience and sense of community. We will definitely come back again.

    We went for Father’s Day as a table of 6. The drink my husband ordered wasn’t available then the meal he ordered had sold out. (They had been open an hour). My pizza arrived 20 minutes before everyone else’s meal arrived. So after sitting for almost 10 minutes (while my pizza was going cold) thinking the remaining meals would come out, I started eating and had finished by the time the remaining 5 meals came out. The meals were just ok and the 2 sides of chips were cold so clearly sat for a while before coming out. Only 3 of us wanted desert. It took so long 2 of our table had to leave. Then 1 desert came out followed by the remaining 2 deserts 10+ minutes later. Eventually when they did come out (less than 5 minutes before our table was needed for someone else) The waitress clearly run off her feet, just plonked them at the end of the table for us to give to whoever had ordered them. During this time the waitress kept coming over as she could clearly see we didn’t have all of our food and she kept “promising” the rest of the food was coming. On top of that on 2 separate occasions 2 different staff came over with 2 pizzas thinking we had ordered them when we hadn’t. Absolutely terrible service. They clearly over booked but didn’t have the staff. If you want to eat together please go elsewhere because this seemed to be the normal here and who wants to eat on their own…..no one!!!!! They were happy to charge us full price though!!!!!

    Came here for a birthday. Arrived at 2pm asked if we could put racing Chanel on, considering we are in a racing stable. Apparently no license for it? Even though it’s free to air. Also had no gas bottles left at 3pm so no heaters for our group which meant our area was quite chilly. A little disappointed.

    Very disappointed in our experience. Staff were not that interested, the low tables were right in front of the music so was not able to have a conversation, perhaps placing lower ones in the other end would be a good idea. The food was very average especially considering what it cost. Such a shame it's not better as we are locals, but wount be returning.

    Lovely venue. Unfortunately served by young inexperienced staff which caused a few errors in our orders. But we do understand they need to gain the experience to improve. Other than that, we were happy with our visit.

    We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids. We spent a great afternoon at St Andrews Beach Brewery. From picking the different types of beer in the tasting paddle to savouring the delicious food, it was an awesome experience. We ordered the pulled pork tacos, scotch eggs with slow cooked pork, the sardines, fried chicken wings and the kids had burgers. This place is highly recommended.

    Beautiful setting , nice warm room - good menu and friendly staff. My only constructive criticism would be that our table was not cleared away in a timely manner . Our dessert and coffee was brought to the table and still our main dishes were not cleared . I had to ask . Small thing but maybe staff can be reminded

    At Andrews brewery has the potential to be really kid friendly. There’s space for them to spread out but it could be made better for them to play while also being supervised by parents. One of the security guards was very polite when suggesting that our kids put their shoes back on. We liked the way he approached it.

    Service was minimal, kitchen closed at 7:30 however there was no advice of this from staff so we went to order dessert at 7:36 and was told the kitchen was closed (this was also a Saturday night). Dinner plates not cleared from our table. Food was okay, however I would rave about.

    Not a great option on a cold day if your sitting outside. They have heaters but they weren't that effective. Food came out very quick so not sure if it was pre cooked & notmade to order.
