Squire House
Ordered the salmon this time around and it was tasteless and unsatisfactory I had maybe 3 bites and had to stop eating.
I have been here once before and had an overall great experience with the food and taste.
Would return again as the overall experience was good.
Great ambiance and the food was stellar!
We ate here on the last night of our Big Sky, Montana vacation. It was by far the best meal and service we had the entire trip. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bozeman.
I can not say enough about Squire House! Everything was perfect! The food was unbelievable! (I had the Short Ribs.) The staff is on the ball and eager to serve. This is a place you'll want to come back to again and again!
We had a delicious New Years Eve dinner at Squire House, the host was very friendly and helpful and the food was incredible. I highly recommend the risotto appetizer and the creamed spinach. My boyfriend had the short ribs and really enjoyed them.
New Years Celebration with the family.
The only negative was the sweet potato soup. It was very oily. The short ribs were excellent.
All was great! Food and drinks were very tasty. Glad to have a great restaurant open on Christmas Eve.
Squire house has an excellent menu with many selections. It also has a pretty good wine list. Prices are fair and less than some other similar restaurants in Bozeman. We will be back for the food and value.
We so enjoyed our dinner and our waiter Richard was superb! It was the first time we had dined at The Squire and we would highly recommend.
Great food. Very fair prices. No more expensive than Ale works or Ted's. 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 adult drinks, around $100 total. Steak was fantastic! Excellent Mac and Cheese. Too notch calamari. Servers were excellent. Owner even floats around and checks in on tables himself and has conversation with guests. Very friendly. Will definitely be back!
One of the best Thanksgivings yet!! Everything from the food to the service was wonderful!!
Very nice place and excellent food! We would visit again.
Excellent food quality the Duck and fries was small but very tasty. The Blue salad followed by the Scallops and mushroom risotto made for an exceptional meal.
I must say that the wait staff seemed unenthusiastic . We did not feel welcome and it took a long time to get someone over to our table. There was only one other table af two diners in the restaurant at the time. We We’re not asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, which we would have gladly had .
The food and ambiance were good and it is a comfortable place to dine. I just wish the wait staff were interested in providing good service. We felt very unwelcome . Hopefully it was just an off day for them.
Not what I expected. Cocktails were nice and the decor was great to the eye.
The food was exceptionally delicious, but the service was quite slow (we waited roughly 45 minutes for our appetizers and another 45 minutes after that for our entrées).
Had a reservation - business trip. Walked up and doors were closed. No notification.
One of the best meals I've had in a while!! Great cocktails and food.
We absolutely loved our experience. Best food in Bozeman.
My filet was amazing as well as the vegetable & potato accompaniment. Service was great. Only thing I did notice as a neat freak and having worked fine dinning in college, was the front entry mats had leaves all over them ( interior ), should have been vacuumed before opening. Also, the barstool cushions were all ripped and torn, when I am paying $15 and up for a glass of Chardonnay, the barstools should not be ripped and torn. Maybe its hip, like ripped jeans?
Love the atmosphere here! And the owner is so personable and makes the dining experience feel so special. Wait staff is friendly and anticipates all our needs. Food was so yummy! And the surprise dessert for our anniversary celebration was TO DIE FOR!
We love Squire House! Our go to for amazing food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Always such a good experience! Definitely a top favorite restaurant in Bozeman
Never disappointed. Staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and love the art of hosting their guests. Food is never less than perfectly presented, and so so delicious. Great cocktails and desserts as well! Kelly and Michael were amazing hosts.
Great location and atmosphere. The service was great and food delicious.
great staff; great food. overall excellent!
Food wonderful we tried many different apps n entrees since it was our first visit!! Staff was delightful!! Will rerun again.
Lovely setting. Casual dining. Great food
We had a great dinner and lunch experience at Squire House. They were out of the 48hr braised short ribs so my husband had a steak and I had the Blue Salad, both were very good. The next day we were shopping downtown and wanted lunch. Every place on the main drag had at least an hour wait so we headed back to the Squire House and were able to get a table. (it's not a menu or price point that would appeal to most college students) My husband had the best French Dip he's ever had. I tasted a bit of the meat from his sandwich and it was to die for! I had the French Omelette served with the salad and it was perfect, such a simple meal but so good. We will definitely eat there again when we are in Bozeman.
Good food, nice outdoor seating but service was slow...
Ambience was great, service was excellent too super friendly. The meal was excellent. I’m so glad we decided to give this place a try.
Great menu, Michael the owner connects with each guest multiple times. Food comes out well presented and timing is great. Highly recommend this place
It is a wonderful place for a special dinner. The food is excellent and the staff is always very attentive!
Wonderful dinner. Lots of nice outdoor space which we took advantage of. Everyone was so nice - amazing service, and the food was excellent. We loved the appetizers (had Brussels and duck frites), our mains, and drinks (the Bozeman was particularly good)
The food was great and the service outstanding. Fun atmosphere too.
We loved everything. Especially the Mac & cheese appetizer. I had the blue cheese salad with chicken. Yum! POSs the best salad I’ve ever had. Our only regret was going somewhere else the next night. Should have gone back for seconds.
Always a pleasure. Recommend the brussels, calamari and French 76
Service was great and owner was very friendly. Pasta was a bit spicy. Portions on some items were smallish. Flavors were great.
The owner was very pleasant, welcoming us to the area as we dropped off our daughter for her first year at MSU. He had a conversation with us about where we were from, and told us a little about himself. At the end, he bought us a shareable dessert that was very much appreciated! Great food and wonderful drinks. Waitress was very attentive and nice. Enjoyed our celebration dinner very much!
I always enjoy coming to eat here. The food is always at 100% quality. When things get busy there they still make sure to make every plate with care.
