On second visit to this year-old restaurant, we liked it even more than our first. Our server was outstanding; menu choices were varied so that all four of us had ample appealing choices, and every dish was perfectly prepared. The space is cozy if a bit close, but the tables and chairs were well selected for comfort and adequate space for dining. In all, an excellent experience.

Food, service, and ambiance all fabulous. There was not a single morsel left on anyone's plate. Delicious as always and the noise abatement that was installed is working great. Had great conversation and couldn't hear anyone else around us.

Everything about our experience at Spring and Porter was excellent. The chicken Takeshi appetizer was absolutely incredible. May order two as an entree next time! The venison was delicious, perfectly cooked over a bed of spaetzle and scallops were beautifully seared, melt in your mouth with a side of pillowy gnocchi. This was a meal we will dream about. Plus terrific wine list and great service. We will be back!

Fabulous meals. Halibut with their Risotto was absolutely amazing! We will be going back very soon. Very warm ambience, GREAT staff. HIGHLY recommend it.

So amazing! Aaron, the bartender was friendly and made fabulous drinks. The fried chicken appetizer, bolognese, and Caesar salad were all delicious. We came back two nights in a row! So happy to have found this new gem.

We enjoyed our dinner here, seated quickly (had reservations). Our server was very nice and attentive. Ordered halibut and the beef filet, both very good. Also ordered creme brûlée which was very good and tried a suggested sample of wine to go with it and it was great!

This was our third time this season to eat at S&P. The food was great as always.Drinks were fine but my second glass of wine never came. The major problem was we nearly froze to death. We were seated in the far corner from the entrance door. About half way thru the meal the AC came on in full force. We mentioned it politely to our waiter, requesting he have it turned down. He returned a few minutes later stating, It has been turned down. 15 minutes later we were still freezing from the chilly draft. Our neighbors at the next table expressed their discomfort, too. This time we spoke to the waiter expressing our continued discomfort and asked for the check. 5 minutes later the problem was addressed and the area began to warm up. However, we left chilled to the bone, wondering if we would ever return.

We are actively working to address the AC in the restaurant. When we built the new ceiling to improve the acoustics it changed how the air was circulated in the restaurant making some areas colder than others. We apologize for the discomfort that evening and please know this is being fixed as quickly as possible.

We tried a lot of the menu! Lobster Tostada was small but tasted excellent. The foie gras pate was creamy and wonderful! Med size Oysters were fresh, fully shucked, and had no grit. The Bolognese was a perfect classic. For main dishes, the ladies had the halibut on risotto and loved it (nice big piece). A friend got the beef filet sliced on top of the rigatoni (yes, 2 separate dishes combined) he was in heaven! But the best thing on the menu and one of the best things I every ate was the Venison Back Strap on Spätzle! F’ing DELICIOUS! It was cooked med rare. The Spätzle was amazing! You must try this dish…my half eaten picture doesn’t do any justice but had to take a pic!

The deep wine list focused on Italian wines is especially compelling here. Service is friendly, prompt and professional. The halibut dish one of us ordered was exceptionally good; the salmon dish was creative but the mustard was applied with too heavy a hand for our taste. The tomato bisque, on the other hand, was divine. Well worth another visit.

This is the second time we have been here. The first time was MUCH better. Scallops had no sear, chicken flavor was marginal, chicken appetizer was sooo dry. The last time we had this appetizer it was wonderful. I would recommend highly after our first visit, not this one.

Spring & Porter continues to impress us. It simply never fails to deliver outstanding and creative cuisine, carefully and impressively prepared and presented. What's more, unlike most other restaurants in this area, the menu changes frequently, which gives the chef the chance to showcase his abilities, and gives diners the chance to avoid eating the same selections over and over again. The service is warm, friendly and on point. We love it!

I would definitely recommend. The food was amazing! The interaction with the chefs is a nice touch, I saw both of them come into the dining area. Our server was very nice and friendly. Expect to pay more, it’s an upscale restaurant the food is definitely worth it if you’re looking for this type of meal. You also get time in between to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. I meal you can appreciate.

Servers, host and bar tender were great! Drinks were good. We had ordered the bread and calamari— both very tasty. We both ordered the filet and were underwhelmed. The steak was cooked well and had good flavor. What was lacking was the amount of sauce. The potato gnocchi’s were good, but very dry— would have been a lot better with a sauce. Overall good experience, but we will probably choose another restaurant before returning here. We were curious and had to give it a try!

Quite disappointed. It was our anniversary. Reviews of this place were great. Food was so so, Caesar tasted like it was out of a bag. Service was quite spotty. Will not repeat.
