Bartender was not super friendly or attentive which is disappointing. Had the cauliflower app and it was soggy. Pizza from Ella’s was delicious though.
Rambo Burger was really good and the smashed fries were really good as well! The bathroom is a must see though!.
Our first time here. As I had read in other reviews, there was a solo musician performing (great - support live music!) but at full concert volume. We first sat in the back room, expecting it to be a bit quieter, but to our surprise it was being pumped in there and actually louder. After being seated at one table, we found it oddly too low for the seats and and asked to move to another, which was better but the volume got to us and we asked to be seated outside. Throughout this all the staff was friendly and accommodating.
On to the food - really good. A quality burger and salad at fair prices - what more can you ask for? The smashed fries were terrific. Drinks were typically priced for Huntington - which means overpriced. Cocktails were tasty but light on alcohol. I would stick with beer next time.
I think the staff was a bit taxed due to it being the first night the Paramount was back in action, but as I said up top, they were friendly and trying their best.
Convienent for the show we were seeing. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Limited choices for food. Great drinks.
I don’t know where to start. Tonight was a horrible experience. There was no management on site there were people dining who are smoking cigarettes and smoking pot and vaping at the tables. We approached the hostess and asked to speak to the manager we were then referred to the bar where they said there was no management on site. They then referred us to security we explain the situation to security who rolled his eyes and said he would address the situation. He went over to the table told him they couldn’t smoke but they could Vape he then proceeded to tell them oh we can move you to another table where they move them to another table where they continue to smoke cigarettes pot and Vape. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable the server never apologize they actually laughed at us. What is going on how is this allowed how are people treated this way. We are a dining group and dine all over Long Island. Does Huntington and NYS allow this ? NO. We will not return and we will file a complaint to the town. I’m extremely upset about the situation. We had 2 guests that have had cancer and we want to feel safe when we dine. Unacceptable and not the dining experience we would ever expect. They need real management on site. Adults ! Don’t go !
Great experience at the Spotlight! Loved the live music and the atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again!
Fun place !
Food was good. Weird that they don’t give plates. Wish they didn’t use disposable cutlery, such a waste. Band was SUPER loud. Had to scream to be heard. Waitress got them to lower the speakers which helped.
Great food, but limited menu. A little pricey for pub food, but quality was there. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had, by far! Could have used more waitstaff in band room. It was tough getting our server's attention. As far as music goes, the band was fantastic--The Big Happy rocked the house! Wish they could have played longer.
Always the best burgers in town. Have gone many times and will continue to return.
I am so disappointed! The ambiance of this place is incredible. I love the live music and the vibe but besides that it was terrible. We had multiple waitresses, no one could remember to bring back anything our table asked for. It took asking 4 different times and 3 different people for some water for the table. The water pitcher tasted like it previously had some margaritas in it and wasn’t washed so the water tasted like jalapeños. The food was completely bland and had no flavor. I really wanted to like this place. The hostess is also no where to be found. We waited 10 minutes for someone and ended up just seating ourselves. I love music and concerts but the music is so loud you need to scream to your friends sitting next to you.
The singer Chelsea Takami was amazing! Great performer.
I didn’t eat. Just had a drink. Cool place. Improv night was great!!
The only think I was confused about was the bathroom sink! lol 😂
This was my second time there and it was awful. I was shocked seeing that my first experience was amazing! The service this time around was terrible - I had to ask the hostess and bus boys for service as our waitress rarely ever checked in. Our food took a long time to come out and our second round of drinks were forgotten. Once we reminded her, she brought out the incorrect order. Needless to say, I do not think we will return.
Went to see A Band in Ship. I would go there again. Nice place
We ordered soup, an appy, and an entree ALL which arrived at the same time. Piped-in music was of poor taste (and we’re super flexible) and too loud. Unless your 18 years old, I’d pass if I were you.
Food and Drinks always great. Music is a bit loud. Service due to the crowd was a bit slow but happy to see business getting back to normal.
Will definitely return soon.
I loved the Spotlight - And the Alchemist's were fantastic! More Please!!
A great time. The improv group was fantastic. Next time I'll request a table closer to the action.
Also, I can't wear a mask for medical reasons. No one hassled me
We went to see a band. I didn't know they seat people in three different rooms, 2 which are not in view of the band. I'd have had a better experience if I could see the band in person and not on a tv screen. I was surprised the food was good as a friend told me it wasn't. We enjoyed the smashed fries, burger, flat bread and churros!
Food was not impressive. Mixed drinks not worth the price. Live Music was the best part
Great live music. Cool vibe.
Great place to hear live music. Good vibe. It is loud but that is to be expected.
Great venue, so nice to be out and hear live music and feel safe. It was a Saturday night the performers were great.
great time with friends and family , too bad libs and dems are screwing up our freedoms
I love the ambiance and I just overall loved the vibe that this restaurant gave me. It made me feel happy.
Do not come here for the food or service. We came to hear a band. Food was eh and expensive. Service not good. Seating not good.
The band DJ was fantastic. Looking forward to seeing them again at the Spotlight
Excellent food and service. Music was a nice touch.
Tables were appropriately separated.
Great evening celebrating a birthday.
Will definitely return.
Excellent food and service. Music was a nice tough. Tables were appropriately separated. Great evening. Will definitely return.
They took our order and then forgot to give it to the kitchen and we never got our food.
The Host’s was very rude while I was greeted with out of town friends. I don’t recommend ever speaking to her.
Our server was fantastic!! Never had to wait more than a couple minutes for drinks.
Food was ok, the drinks were normal. The best part is the live music. We were seated at the bar, right by the door and my girlfriend became very cold because of the wind. If possible try to get a table away from the door. The waitress was very nice and attentive.
THe smashed fries are amazing!!!
Food was great, atmosphere was fun, but unfortunately there was only one server working and she was very overwhelmed. Trying to get attention to order more drinks or close the bill took a while and we had to sit and wait, would be great if you had more then one server working! Poor server was running around and had some large parties too.
Really fun atmosphere while feeling safe at the same time. Excellent service and food! Looking forward to going back.
Great to hang again with good friends and good music!
The food was very tasty. The Rambo Burger was very good. I thought the food was slightly overpriced. Our waitress Rebecca was outstanding. She kept the pacing proper and was very personable. The musician, Brian Ripps was great. The art gallery in back is interesting. A fun night out. Can't wait for the Paramount to reopen. A first class organization.
First time eating out since covid. It was a great experience. The service was outstanding and friendly. Tables were well spaced out with plastic panels to create a little extra safety between tables and band performers. I actually enjoyed the experience way more than expected being outside and just seeing people go about their business.
