   I made a reservation a week ahead to celebrate my son’s birthday. We arrived exactly on time and were told the table was not ready but should be in 10 minutes. Naturally, they ushered us upstairs to the bar where we waited 30 minutes. They blamed the situation on diners staying later than expected. After it became apparent they had probably given our table up shortly before our reservation and arrival time, we were given seats upstairs in the bar. Christine, the bartender and food server, was great and handled the situation well. The food was great. However, whoever is responsible for managing reservations and seating is either incompetent or irresoponsible.

   Made a reservation for a special occasion for 7:30 on a Saturday night. Was told table would be ready 15 minutes late. Then was told that investor was sitting at table. At 45 minutes, hostess told me that they had check. At 50 minutes was told that they ordered more drinks. We left at 8:30. Lots of "sorry's" from hostess, but no solution to the problem. Investors should realize that the investment won't pay off if you anger customers. Thanks for ruining special occasion, Spoonbread!

   Great evening with friends. The food was phenomenal as usual. Only problem was a customer was very rude to us. She went around to various tables and told them they were staying too long and they needed to hurry up so her party could sit down. It was truly one of the most unbelievable experiences I've even had in a restaurant. The restaurant should have asked her to leave.

   I enjoyed my meal at Spoonbread. The presentation of the duck was very cool and the meal was delicious (my friend ordered it but I had a bite). I had 2 appetizers as my meal because I couldn't decide what I wanted. I didn't leave hungry and the short rib appetizer was very good (it was a little heavy but the appetizer side was perfect). I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   We were excited to visit this restaurant with its many good reviews. First impression was very noisy and crowded. We were met with the apology that our table wasn't ready yet and would require a wait. We were fine with that. Then people started arriving. Somehow they all were met and seated. We continued to wait. Then more people were seated who came in after us and it became obvious that we had been overlooked. We ended up being kept waiting, in a crowded area while standing the entire time for 50 minutes. We were finally seated and offered apologies. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant on a Saturday night. They are overbooked and don't handle reservations very efficiently.

   Excellent meal on a night out with friends. From the wine to a perfectly cooked steak to excellent service...can't wait to come back.

    I like the feel of the place, valet parking was easy, the place is right on the corner easy to find. Inside the seating is cozy but not to crowded. We had a booth and it was just in the right spot. We started with Pork Sriracha and Collard Greens Egg Rolls and Short Ribs braised in red wine and Port, served over rosemary grits as our two appetizers.... just had to taste them both. They both were outstanding but I loved the braised short ribs. For our main course I had Beef Tenderloin topped with lump crab meat and my lovely date had seasoned pork chop with mash potatoes and grilled brussel sprouts. Both dishes were amazing and we topped it off with cheesecake and coffee. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and we will return
