The food was underwhelming with no attention to detail or presentation. We couldn't even get a truly hot cup of water for our tea at Easter Brunch. Spencer's used to be a favorite restaurant, but that was not our experience yesterday.

Slow, inattentive service. Small menu with lackluster options. Super salty soup. Hotel feel restaurant. No views, resort fee added to check was just the last treat to a poor dining experience.

This is just a very average, not exciting place to eat. I would not eat here by choice, but if there was not where else to visit or it’s convenient, give it a shot. The charcuterie board was extremely basic. The burger was over cooked. Everything is just very simple, and not exciting.

The food here isn’t great. A good bread basket, but the fish tacos and crab cake weren’t good at all. Waitress seemed a little rushed despite the restaurant not being crowded. Also BEWARE: this restaurant charges a RESORT FEE for your food and beverage even if you aren’t a guest of the hotel. We asked for the manager who explained that the fee is for the “upkeep of the resort,” and then said she felt like I was “forcing her” to remove the fee (it was $8 for our tab). She ultimately removed it after I explained that nowhere are patrons warned of this fee. I will not dine here again.

The service was abysmal. The menu is dated and overpriced. No bread plates for the bread. The final straw was when the meals came, they served the 3 adults, and said the baby meal, for our one year old, would come later, and came about 10 minutes later!! Who ever heard of such a thing

We have been enjoying both dinner and breakfast at Spencer’s for over 20 years. We enjoy the experience every time. Food is excellent and service always great.
