   The tea house experience is lovely from beginning to end. We were greeted by the owner and escorted to our table. The table was set with beautiful tea cups and lace napkins. We ordered the special tea which began with a bubbly cider. A pot of our individually selected tea arrived in its own tea pot. This was followed by a shrimp loaded cracker. Just yummy. Then came the three tiered high tea service. Everything was warm and delicious. The owner came by several times engaging us in conversation about the tea, food and local area. The entire experience was delightful. This was our third visit. We look forward to returning again.

   Special Effects Tea House is a gem. The decor is so beautiful, the ambiance mellow and welcoming, and the food very good. We came here for lunch, and lingered for over an hour and a half. No one rushed us. There was lovely music playing, but not so loud as to interrupt our conversation. We had warm scones, mini tea sandwiches, desert, and a large selection of teas. Definitely enough to fill us up for lunch. We'll be back soon! Thank you Debbie and Victoria!

   I go here regularly to meet a friend or with my daughter. They are so welcoming and courteous. Will continue to go there - winter inside and in warmer weather, outside in the beautiful garden.

   Excellent experience! Good food, delicious tea, friendly and helpful service and a cozy ambience. Would recommend. A nice option for friend gatherings or a couple.

   Absolutely Delightful - the tea house is super cute and everything is top tier! My Aunt had not been to High Tea in years and she loved it soooo much. She will be back I’m sure! Make a reservation and go! You will love it.

    I almost don't want to write a review because this place is so lovely and precious and I don't want other people to flock there! But alas, I must because they deserve it. It's beyond beautiful and the service is extraordinary. There are several tea options to choose from and we were very happy with our selections along with the sandwiches, small desserts, and scones. I think the only request would have been to select our own scones as we each would have preferred something sweet but beyond that, it was perfect and we will definitely return.
