   Date Night was ruined by these jokers! £32 for two starters and to watch my wife eat her linguine. Asked for the bill, and the manager comes over and asks if we want to skip straight to dessert. It was incredulous. Paid the bill and he asked if I wanted to take my meal home as a takeaway...30 minutes after my wife's meal had arrived and been eaten! I'm sure my wife would have enjoyed watching me eat my takeaway at home. I've been to great restaurants, good restaurants, bad restaurants and awful restaurants, Sparrow's is definitely in the last category! The waiter was over-educated and the manager couldn't stop laughing. It was like being mugged by one of the Chuckle brothers!

   Excellent again - my 4th visit and food and atmosphere were again excellent. Really friendly as well !

   We went here for our wedding anniversary. Some outstanding dishes, especially the duck leg, chick pea and squash salad and the chocolate mouse. I can’t wait to come here again. Panacotta slightly average. My husband had dessert envy.

   Second time at this restaurant and just as good as the first. Great going as a group of 5 as we could try nearly everything on the menu. The staff are so nice and make it a great experience.

   This is now our 3rd visit to Sparrow and we love it. Very exciting to have somewhere so good for brunch so close to home. Keep meaning to try the Saturday evening dinner menu as the cocktails look great!

   A really friendly restaurant with exceptional food and quality cocktails. It is noisy and cramped but the food and the friendly staff make it special.

    Attentive friendly service, modern relaxed interior and vibe and delicious food that you might not expect to find beside the now-disappeared infamous Lewisham station roundabout. Whilst not exorbitant, it's not cheap either and the food is broken down into just what it says it is on the menu (a delicious pork chop was just that - a thick, juicy pork chop on a plate. nothing else) A delightful local gem that is clearly loved by those in the know.
