A very pleasant and fun place to visit with a menu and wine list that will fit anyone's tastes and pocket. The view overlooking the water from either outside or inside is a great added plus. Staff from the general manager to the manager to the wait staff were all very friendly professionals.

We honestly didn’t have the highest hopes for this place. Wow!!! We were completely wrong. Staff was amazing. Our server knew every item on the menu in detail. He knew when to check on us and when to not interrupt the conversation. The food was fantastic! I’m not a fish lover but decided to try it anyway. If every place served fish this fresh and flavorful, I’d order it every time. Each person at our table loved their meal. Scallops cooked perfectly. Salmon moist and flakey. Thanks to the entire staff at Waterbar for making a simple evening one we’ll remember.

Carb cakes were clearly premade/store bought and too much breading, lobster/shrimp bisque was so thick it was more like a dip. It should be thick but not that thick! Also, heavy on the salt, we count finish it. Steak was ok, but the shrimp scampi was awful. The shrimp were cooked nicely but the sauce is not a traditional scampi sauce, it is this horribly thick cream sauce which the shrimp were drowned in. Dessert was alright. Overall, everything was over salted and not worth the price. Server was covering so many tables it was hard for him to give anyone the proper attention. The location is nice.

Kim was awesome on the phone and very nice when we needed to adjust our reservation time. Our waiter, Trent, was quirky and very personable which was a nice change of pace from other waiters we have recently had where they barely say two words. He was also extremely attentive and recognized what we needed before we spoke it. The drinks were fabulous and the food was divine...we got the herb roasted chicken, the bourbon salmon, and the swordfish - WOW! The ambiance was perfect and the outdoor seating is done right - enough of the outdoors but as comfortable as being indoors. We can't wait to go back!

First time trying out Sparks Water Bar. When we went in we were very impressed with the place. It was very spectacular and we were very excited thinking we have found a great new restaurant. Appetizers crab cakes were wonderful. Then sadly it went downhill from there. Ribeye steak was over cooked and at $49.00 that was very disappointing. I had clams and a Caesar salad. Clams were tasteless, no flavor and I don’t know if they were over cooked but were very strange consistency. My friend also had the same as I and didn’t like the clams. Caesar salad had wilted lettuce and was not a true Caesar but had a lemon dressing, which to be fair is what the menu said but I didn’t like flavor. Sadly we will not be going back. The place is beautiful and a real addition to Sparks but the meal just didn’t live up to our expectations, especially for the price. I am sorry to give this review and I wasn’t going to say anything but I kept getting these survey so decided maybe they want to know.

Everything was wonderful as usual. The manager on duty (sorry forget her name) was SOoo gracious and helpful as our waiter had seemed to forget us. She comped up a cocktail which certainly made up for our “feeling forgotten”. We will be back !!

Great menu and food. Don’t have to drive to the lake to get a Wet Woody—same company as Garwood’s. View is fantastic—Mt Rose, Slide Mt and Peavine all in one panoramic swoop.

The food and drinks were AMAZING!!! We sat on the patio and overall, the scenery was beautiful. The view across the water at sundown was good, but we would of loved a clear view instead of having a metal bar (or whatever you want to call it) between the windows obsuring our view.

So surprised that we have lived in the area for years and have never stopped by this place. It's a hidden gem! The service was amazing, the views of the marina to die for!! There was relaxing music while we ate. We were seated upstairs and our delicious ahi poke taco appetizer came out within minutes of ordering. I had the garlic herb chicken and my husband the rib eye steak. You guys... I could've licked the plate clean! The meal was delicious! They placed two chicken breasts on my plate and little ol me couldn't handle it but I definitely brought it home to eat after! Seriously so delicious!! We will definitely be coming back! Loved it here. Wish I wasn't so quick to eat and slower at snapping pictures of the food, but you'll have to go try it for yourself!

Best service we have had in a long time. Waitress was very attentive and professional. Ambience was beautiful, we sat outdoors and the large umbrellas amplified the sound levels a bit but was overall a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back!

We had a great birthday lunch for my husband at Sparks Water Bar. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was top notch. We recommend the coconut prawns as an appetizer. We will return! Either for happy hour or another special occasion. The location is great and the view of the water is outstanding.

Nice setting in an urban desert, our server was very energetic, engaging and professional. She took the entire order for our party of 6 without an issue or a mistake. The price was reasonable for the quality provided, drinks were quick and very refreshing. We will be back on our next visit to the area!

Tried WaterBar for our first time for our 35th wedding anniversary. The ambiance was clean and fresh. Our dining experience was wonderful. The server was personal and friendly. Our steamed clams were a great start. The scallops and filet were delicious. The brownie desert was a great way to end the meal!

Way too expensive! I’ve enjoyed Riva and Garwoods, but they are in Tahoe. This is a nice property, but it’s not Tahoe-level on pricing. The food is good- NOT great. I had a steak salad that was good- not great. It was nearly $30! Our family check was almost 300! There were kids meals, a burger- only one real entree. We will not be back.

The apps were good (Crab Cakes were outstanding). The drinks were strong and tasty (I couldn't finish the rocks-Rita as I was driving). The entrees were okay, but I have to say it's hard to follow great crab cakes, so maybe I was spoiled. We intend to go back and give it another shot. It's affiliated with Gar Woods in Lake Tahoe, so they have the Wet Woody's.

Our waitress was sweet but busy and a bit overworked in the heat. The food was fine but not great. The drinks were refreshing . We’d like to come back it’s just a little spendy for what you get. Thank you.
