New York restaurant veteran Emanuele Attala, chef-owner of the West Village staples Malatesta and Malaparte, has teamed up with two creative newbies that should be on your radar, Ettore Pardossi and Giovanni Gentile, Spaghetti Incident’s Sous Chef and General Manager, respectively. This duo conceived the unique idea of serving spaghetti in a cone to-go inspired by the way Italians served their street food at festivals in the 1950’s, and after an exhaustive search for the perfect non-spill material, a precise product was developed so that customers could take their spaghetti to the streets of New York.
We're Cash Only but we feature an ATM inside.
My Mom and I are on vacation and I had eating at Spaghetti Incident once before. Quick seating, friendly and knowledgeable waiters, and super delicious and filling food.
The fresh pasta was amazing and worth the trip alone
Food is just as great as in Italy, the taste and combination of ingredients is superb
Delicious simple food. Exactly what we were looking for.
Spaghetti Incident had a fun and lively ambience the night we went. The food was very well prepared and the service was excellent. Staff were engaging and friendly. There would likely be something on the menu for every taste. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for something suited to couples, small groups or even people with young children (before the crowd builds up around 7-ish). It is important to note that it is a cash-only restaurant but they do have an ATM on site.
Very aggressive staff. We had to wait 30 minutes for our table (although we made a reservation). Then, a part of our order was forgotten. I would strongly recommend to avoid it. You can easily find a better Italian restaurant
Great place and food was delicious❤☺ highly recommended 👌
Incredible food and service! I went to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing!
This was probably the best pasta I’ve ever had! We ordered the Lasagna Bolognese, Spinach Fettuccini, Chitara, Ravioli, and Rigatoni. Everything was spectacular!!
We’ve been here several times. Service is always amazing as is the food and atmosphere. Love Spaghetti Incident!
Spaghetti Incident is a good 'go-to' pasta restaurant. The staff is accommodating without any pretension (we wanted to have different pastas with different sauces). It is a very good value and the food is very good (the pasta came al dente without having to ask). I wouldn't call this a pasta place for foodies, plus they started taking away plates before everyone was finished (admittedly, a pet peeve of mine and it may not bother others). Although not actually a five star restaurant, for the price point, it is about as good as you can get, and is worth dining there. I will definitely go there again.
Wonderful food, wonderful staff, overall wonderful experience.
Wished the sauce wasn’t so watery on the pasta. But the risotto balls were amazing
Great food and a cozy atmosphere. The one thing I would suggest changing for the restaurant is the ability to pay with a credit card. This would make things much more comfortable in today's age.
This place is really the perfect place to enjoy some great pasta and wine with friends. Portion sizes are great. No one was rushing us out the door and we enjoyed a great informal meal.
The noodles were the bomb.
Great pasta in a quiet setting. I had the ragu blognese, it was delicious
A wonderful intimate dining experience! The food was phenomenal and the service was perfect.
Twas dope and muy delicioso. 10/10 would eat there again.
Delicious, freshly made pasta dishes. Portions are very generous and prices are very moderate. And the staff is delightful.
Food was great. Glad we had a reservation. Can't wait to go back.
Great food just wish the tables were a little bit more spread out. Felt very tight
They were able to seat us early and the service was great! They were very accommodating and made my pasta with my food preferences. Great dinner! Awesome ambience!
Awesome food and service. Very efficient and attentive staff. A little small - just make sure you have the right expectations.
My 5 year old came in starving and cranky and the host engaged him and brought out his order right away. It saved our dinner experience. Aside from that the food was fresh and so flavorful. I loved it!
Great pasta for a great price! A hidden gem on the Lower East Side. Make sure to bring cash because it’s cash only!
The service was great! We appreciated them letting us sit at a table eventhough we where late for our reservation. The food was delicious! Very much worth it!
Their fresh pasta was delicious and service was great! Definitely will go back for more meals. Prices were reasonable.
Service was friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and enjoyable. The food was also great all the way from appetizers through the mains and on to dessert.
My favorite place ever! Food is always great and the staff is exceptional 💓 this is by far my favorite restaurant.
Great food and fast service
Just so you know, the place is small and so warm there is condensation on the front windows, but let me tell you - the food and the service is always excellent! Love this place and if I could eat here every day I would.
Brought my kids for dinner and everyone was super kind and interactive with my kids which made dining so much easier and pleasant
It is a GREAT find -- the pasta is out of this world -- the wine though is quite expensive for the quality -- otherwise nothing but the highest praise!!
After spending $300 on a meal and topping the waiter 40% the owner chased down the block into another restaurant and accusing us of taking a wine bottle that we drank entirely.. it was really embarrassing for all of us and will never go back to this establishment. Sucks because it’s one of my favorites. TRASH
One of my favorite places in the city
High pitched buzzing from electric burners but nice restauranr
Delicious food and wine. Service was nice and accommodating. Ambiance was good and not too loud which was great because I had a large group and we could have a conversation with the whole table.
Spaghetti was undercooked and they kept on trying to kick us out cuz we arrived a little late. They also kept on making us shift closer together as guests arrived unnecessarily.
Service was wonderful, food came out fast, portions were just the right size, and everything was delicious! The ambience was 11/10. I would definitely go back :)
