   First time in Charlotte and came to this restaurant after reading multiple reviews online recommending it. It didn’t disappoint. We ordered the baked oysters, gumbo, famous catfish and the shrimp and grits. Everything was great! Service was very kind and attentive. Our server also shared they have a great brunch on the weekends. If we ever come back to Charlotte, we will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place.

   First time here. The food was excellent. You get a lot of food for a fair price. We'll definitely go back.

   I visited the restaurant twice earlier this year. I ordered the flounder both times in the past, and I really enjoyed it. I visited the restaurant on May 11th and ordered the same fish, but it was not enjoyable. It was rubbery and under seasoned. I did not enjoy the food on this 3rd visit and that was disappointing.

   A great place for good food in an inviting vibe. Half-price wine on Wednesday was a welcome surprise. Nice neighborhood spot.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will definitely return. Only reason I held off on 5 stars is because we didn’t try their drinks and they ran out of mashed potatoes on a Friday night. My short rib was outstanding. The corn bread was yummy. The pimento cheese dip was tasty. Our waiter was phenomenal. We tried to Catfish, Salmon and Shrimp and Grits. Everyone loved their dinners. We sat in a cozy booth but next time will try a table to get a different feel for the ambiance.
