Our 4some unanimously concluded South of Nicks is the best Mexican restaurant in So Cal. The food and service are excellent. Only drawback is that it’s so hard to get a reservation - especially for larger groups.

A Monday night dinner for three adults. Booked an OpenTable reservation and all went pretty well! Not your typical Mexican fare…always tasty, with good service and ambience. The restaurant was busy, but not as much as our previous visits. Only one suggestion: get more help behind the bar as the drink prep (house margaritas and draft beer) took too long, which was not the fault of our server and not normal for South of Nick’s.

We love all of the “ Nicks”….. Awesome food, great , professionals and this time we had a wonderful, young lady , server who was so happy and positive it made our meal that much better!!
