   Our brisket which has been very tender in the past wasn’t as tender. Could not taste the ginger at all in the Moscow Mule which for $16 shouldn’t happen

   Great BBQ, excellent collards and beans ( you won’t regret them) solid IPA’s on tap along with fabulous service makes South Block a must visit whenever we are in YYC.

   Reservation was easy to make. Pay parking lot beside the restaurant or meter parking on the street. We ordered a half pound of each - pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs, and apricot pork belly. The belly was my favourite. The Mac n cheese was so good!!

   The food was amazing! Wao! We were a big group and the food came out fast and it was delicious. The customer service was great, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

   This was a business lunch, service was excellent. We had Blueberry Burnt Ends, fantastic, the bacon wrapped peppers were great. Next time I will try the Burger, the guys I was with said best burger they have had in a while. I had the sliced Brisket sandwich, was awesome.

   Great experience at South Block! The ambience was awesome, it’s a really cool place. Our server Anika was amazing, the food was decent, and the cocktails were great!

   Place was busy and the service mediocre compared to other times being there. Meats we ordered were over or undercooked. Hope our next time there will be better.

   It was great .. service was not wonderful .. little negligent and forgotten .. had to ask for many things like plates to eat off of .. mix up in our side order but a win for us as we enjoyed the green beans .. beignets were undercooked in the middle, doughy, yet crispy and dry on the outside and again had to ask for plates and never received them .. but the meal, itself was amazing!

    It was a fantastic experience my daughter loved it we were there for her 18th!! The server was perfect I didn’t get her name but she kept coming around making sure we were good! The band was perfect and we all enjoyed it!
