Executive Chef Kris Dykeman takes great pride in preparing the restaurant's popular lunch and dinner items with only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. Most of the produce is locally grown and organic, all poultry is raised natural and free-range, and the seafood is sourced fresh daily.SoundSide Restaurant steak selections include ribeye, New York strip and center-cut filets – all are Certified Angus Beef brand and grilled over live charcoal for amazing flavor and incredible tenderness. Some popular SoundSide dishes include the shrimp and scallops, honey chicken, surf and turf, maple bourbon pork chops, and the famous SoundSide crab cakes with the house Sriracha aioli.

My wife, Rose, and I have eaten here many times and the food is wonderful, the service is impeccable, and the owners and servers are very friendly. They have a wide selection of seafood and steaks. I love their baked onion soup, and their crab cakes are sumptuous! They come with red beans and rice. I have never had a bad meal here. As a matter of fact we have adopted it as our "Our Place" to have a wonderful meal with folks that make you feel right at home. If you love steak or seafood, you can't beat SoundSide Restaurant in Morehead City, NC and when you go, tell Barbara and Lauren, Jim and Rose sent you. Enjoy!!
