   Our meals were wonderful. We had the quinoa salad, autumn soup, duck confit, steak, chocolate bombe, and peach cobbler a la mode. Though the autumn soup was lacking on flavor, and the peach cobbler had poor texture, essentially a peach mush in a cup topped with vanilla ice cream, the duck confit and steak were cooked exceptionally well. Each meat was tender and moist, and cooked to our requests. The quinoa salad was a delightful appetizer; a quinoa cake mixed with pecans, surrounded by kale. Chocolate bombe = to die for. The service was personable and the server was pleasant, but the time between meals was very slow. We were the only two in the whole restaurant, and it took 2 hours to get through all three courses. The downtime between courses was upsetting, especially since the food was so good. The assortment of jazz was well tuned to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

   This doesn't seem like a real restaurant. We made a reservation on what turned out to be backgammon night so tables for actual diners were limited. They were out of a number of food and drink options. Service was well-intentioned but not very professional. Therefore, not expecting things to get better, we cut our losses and went somewhere else to eat.

   My wife and I came for the valentines dinner were blown away. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food was perfect. We will definitely be back!

   We had the seven course tasting menu. On New Years Eve. And it was great. The only exception was consomme soup. It was pretty plain. Service was great. I would love to do the same next year for sure. The regular menu looked great would love to go back and try sometime.

   we sat for 10 minutes while watching the one hostess/waitress/bartender/server try to take care of the customers. we had tickets to a play and decided we could not wait any longer for even a glass of water so we went elsewhere. Half of the outdoor sign was not lite. Considering it was suppose to be a nice dining experience it was an open air restaurant with no dividers for privacy.

   We went to Soul and Vine with friends for dinner and had an excellent meal. The menu is small but varied and we like that. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and wine and we will surely return.

   Food looked better than it tasted. There were only five table occupied in the restaurant, but the meal took forever to come. My salmon had no taste! The only tasty item was the tomato bisque.

    Probably great at lunchtime but rather grim at 8:00 pm. The tables need something on them and the light bulbs need to ALL be on. The Edison bulbs may be hip, but the effect of the decor was depressing- like they wanted to save money. And that brings us to the flatware. No self-respecting dinner would use utensils so cheaply stamped out. If the food is going to be that expensive--and it is superb as it happens--then the ambiance needs to match.
