Just looks like an ordinary storefront, but inside is so charming and lovely. Tea was very good and the food amazing and beautifully presented.

This was a very nice experience. I took my Mother in Law and we had a pleasant time. Next time I would doe the standard tea without the quiche. The quiche was quite dense and filling, I think they put bread in the egg. It was very filling and made it hard to have room for all the finger sandwiches. There was a nice variety of sandwiches and desserts. I would have like to have had some lemon curd to go with my scone. The atmosphere was as nice as they could get for a strip mall space. All in all a good experience. I would recommend trying it.

Always a treat to have tea at Sortherton. My sister and I meet for tea several times a year and are never disappointed. Fabulous atmosphere, delicious food that always changes, and staff who are very genuine. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed dressing up and sharing this delicious tea as an early Mother's Day celebration. The Owner/Chef was so gracious and accommodating. We tried many different teas and ended up buying some to take home. The explanation of clotted cream was interesting, and even though I am lactose intolerant (I took some pills), I tried it! It was a very cool culinary experience. The quiche was so yummy, I ate the entire piece. The sandwiches were varied, and you also got scones and FABULOUS desserts! We had the Queen's tea. We were given to-go bags as well to enjoy our leftovers at home again. Friendly and fun, with a quaint decor, a choice of inside or outside. My only observation of a critique is that it is in a strip mall setting, but once inside, you won't notice it much as you treat yourself to a special experience!

First time here. We got the queen’s tea service. Started with bubbles and a slice of quiche. Can’t go wrong there. Both teas we had after that were great. Paired one with the sandwiches and one with the desserts that were also upgraded with the queen’s tea package. Doesn’t seem like a lot of food, but trust me, you will be full after! Great experience even if you only do it once. Would love to go back and see what the menu is like around Christmas.
