Very trendy spot. Everything we ordered was a bit off our “typical” lane, but it was all delicious. Sorellina rewarded a little adventurous dining spirit!
Lovely.... excellent food! Service impeccable and a great wine selection!
Best restaurant I have ever been to. The food was great and the service was amazing!
Best meal I’ve had in a while. Great service. Beautiful dining room, especially the large art display.
Sorellina continues to be one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I love the ambiance, the staff is always fantastic, the food is always delicious, and the cocktails and wine offerings are great! Our server was Marc (sp?) who I've had as a server before and he is always outstanding. Highly recommend Sorellina!!!
Something about this place.
Soothes and calms the soul.
Truly the best in Boston
The food at this restaurant is exquisite and they never disappoint. It’s a bit on the expensive side but well worth it.
My Wife and I have a wonder pre-Valentine's dinner. Will go again. Thanks
My brother and i sent my parents there as a Christmas gift.
You made it truly a memorable meal.
We went there for a birthday celebration and it was well worth it. The food was outstanding - we had the lobster bisque, octopus appetizer and scallops and fillet mignon for the entree. The meal was well paced and the service attentive and not intrusive.
This place could not be more perfectly appointed, decor and comfortability superb. The lobster bisque and little Italian donut puffs were exquisite. The main course could have been hotter and oil could have come with the bread. As a bonus a car service was available!!!
Upscale, fine dining expensive experience. If you are looking for best quality and service and don’t mind paying a high price for it then this is definitely an upscale place. We ordered the Burrata, Meatballs w Pasta the appetizer size, chocolate lava cake and a glass of Chianti cost $115. Service was exceptional. Consider this a special occasion dining experience.
Sorellina was perfect. The staff were very friendly, and very worthwhile talking with. Our waiter was a vocalist and had interesting opinions when we drew him out. The good was amazing, the grapefruit martini delightful.
Their saltimbocca is fantastic. it's so good that it is the only entree I've ordered in the over two years my wife and i have been dining here.
The service is great, whom ever you get.
After L’Espalier closed, this is now our #1 restaurant in Boston.
We have been coming here for many years and had one of our best meals and the greatest waiter ever. Lobster bisque and tuna tartar was divine. Their home made gelato is to die for. Highly recommend the lamb chops and truffle fries.
Beautiful ! Wonderful dinner!
Lovely restaurant and amazing food! Ambiance is beautiful and seating is comfortable, though I felt the restaurant was a bit loud and it made it a tad difficult to carry on a conversation. Started with the foie gras and burrata which were both out of this world and moved on to the rib eye steak and veal saltimbocca - both of which were incredibly delicious! My dinner date has eaten many a steak in many a restaurant and he said that this was the best steak he's had - ever! Unfortunately, we were both too full for dessert - maybe next time! Will definitely be back!
Sunday was our first visit. My wife and I bid on (and won) a silent auction item at a charity event for a GC to this establishment. We visited after a nearby theater performance and were very pleased. The decor was elegant and refined. The server was friendly and was happy to give us some history of the restaurant (since it was our first time). All of the food was clearly fresh. From the oven warmed bread to the perfectly cooked filet we were very pleased. It's definitely a place we will frequent again.
Oh -- and Jeremy made a wonderful martini at the bar!
The room itself is unusually attractive. The tables are well-spaced and the noise level was relatively low. The service was excellent. The dishes were good, but prices were very high.
A perfect evening with beautifully paced and attentive service. Every dish was well prepared and plated. Expensive but well worth it. Always consistent.
We went for a special occasion--which was acknowledged however there was an atmosphere of get the food out - clear it - and get ready for the next customers that lacked the fun we would have liked. The lady clearing our table was so speedy that I felt we might not well have been present. We were disappointed but the food was very good and in the end- go with caution... we will not go back.
Tarso is a wonderful server! He always remembers us (or at least makes us feel like he does!) and is always ready to make suggestions and comments on the delicious menu! There was a recent menu change and our favorite arugula salad is gone - hopefully it will be brought back! Everything was wonderful.
Excellent food, great service, and well worth the price! Great job!
We will definitely return! Some of the best Italian food we've had in Boston. I loved the simple, crisp, and white style of the restaurant. Everything was served on white plates so the food was truly the showpiece! The lobster gnocchi is incredible and the chestnut pasta with wild boar was so good I would have licked the plate if not for the fine-dining atmosphere! Have recommended this already to many.
The highlight was the service! She was excellent! Very professional and knowledgeable of the menu items.
I do not recall her name but would recommend her to any other guest.
I really want to like Sorellina, but it just didn’t quite live up to expectations. While our server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and the support staff was very capable. We had the burrata and lobster stew as starters, and they were fine, though the burrata could have used more than one breadstick, and I’m still not sure how the figs worked into the dish—the flavor profiles just didn’t work for me. We ordered the lobster gnocchi and the veal for our entrees. The gnocchi was very flavorful if a little dense, and the veal itself was delicious, though the accompaniments were so-so. Dessert ordered included the donuts and cioccolatta, and both were good. The drinks were fine as well. I just wasn’t blown away by the experience, and a premium-priced restaurant should leave one feeling blown away, sad to find the experience over. That just didn’t happen tonight.
Amazing if there were a word even better than this I would use it! Food, service ambiance it’s more than amazing!
way overpriced. much better value for comparable quality and experience at many other outlets around town.
Service was amazing and food was delicious. Even though it was busy, it was easy to have a conversation.
Earlier in the day I had come on my own to drop off roses and a gift to be brought out later during my wife's birthday dinner at specific times. The nice young lady at the front desk took notes for the waiter and later during the dinner he delivered exactly as requested, without me having to say a word to him. Well done! The atmosphere was great, not too loud, the food and wine were great, and the overall experience was memorable.
The room is stunning. The food is intersting without being pretentious. Those dining we’re young, old and in between. All together a wonderful experience.
Whole experience from reception, to service, food, atmosphere was superb. Our wait staff was wonderful. Dinner was memorable and delicious!
Excellent food. Amazing service. Great experience.
We went to Sorrelina for a "fancy" Saturday night dinner; my wife wore a nice dress, and I wore a jacket. We got to the restaurant about 15 minutes early, and they told us to wait in the bar, which was a modest fail, since there was no space in the bar nor any nearby tables. We did ultimately get a drink and a place to sit. Drinks are expensive, $20 each.
We got a nice table for 2 in the exceptionally sound-proofed dining room. Plainly lots of people around us, but you only heard the occasional snippet. A very pleasant way to enjoy a meal. We got fois gras and spaghetti with king grab as first courses, both excellent. Veal Milanese and Saltimbocca for our main courses. The Milanese is spectacular. It is presented as a huge rib with a modestly flattened cutlet and a crunchy breading. Beautiful presentation and delicious. The Milanese was very tasty, but not nearly as intriguing. It looked very much like filet mignon, only veal. We had a lemon custard for dessert that was excellent. The Milanese and the lemon custard were at the suggestion of our waitress, who was friendly and available without being annoying or intrusive.
Aside from the price (we broke $300 for two) this is a wonderful experience.
I go to Sorellinas every year for my birthday. The menu options are perfect and the ambiance is just what I’m looking for - beautiful. Professional but fun waitstaff. Extensive wine list... both vegetarian and hearty meals... I love it here! Aside from having the tables a little close for those tables for 2 - this place is an absolute must go to if you’re planning on having a great dinner in the city - for any occasion!
My cod was under cooked and my friends 55 dollar spaghetti was just noodles, butter and few loose pieces of alaskan crab.
The desert was packaged type out the box. 👎
Went to Sorellina for my daughter's 21st birthday as it's BOTH one of our most favorite restaurants in Boston. The ambiance is warm and cozy and the food is outstanding. Go!
Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Extensive wine list. Exquisite food and comfortable ambiance. Enjoyed my experience.
