Food was incredibly sl
Well executed on all levels. Waiter is a pro. Has a voice that could be on radio or voiceover for movie previews. Cheers.
My partner and I went here to celebrate our recent engagement. We were greeted right away with complementary glasses of champagne and many congratulations from the staff. Food was excellent, service was great. Ended the night with a complimentary dessert with congratulations written on it.
Friends told us to eat here when we next visited Boston. It was my birthday so we figured fine dining and the associated expense was reasonable. The restaurant is nicely appointed and quiet but for the awful techno-music they were playing. I looked around and could see that most of the people at tables were our age (60's) or older yet they played this awful music that just did not fit the environment. Also, having a TV in the bar that can be seen in the dining room of a high end establishment is just not correct.
I had the roasted roasted chicken $37, it was a bit overcooked but had such nicely crisped skin, I did not send it back. My wife had a bowl of just pasta - $37 - which was just OK. Two drinks - bourbon and a manhattan were $40. So, with appetizers and desserts, the bill was $207. With tip, each of our dinners was a little more than $120. These were not $120 dining experiences. Terribly overpriced, small portions and just OK food was a big disappointment. Did not have the look or feel of an authentic Italian restaurant. Wish I had gone to someplace in the North End. Will not return.
I have been to sorrellina many times. The ambience, service and food is outstanding. Nancy was our server and she was outstanding. The bartender is something to behold. She can multitask like no other. You will not be disappointed
This was our fifth time here and did not disappoint. Service and food outstanding as usual. Favorite hot spot when in Boston. Be back soon!
Excellent service and ambiance. Great food. Nathan was very knowledgeable and accommodating
Todos los platillos que probamos fueron excelentes. Las pastas son un “must”. Es recomendable pedir medias órdenes para poder probar un poco mas de platillos. Los cocktails son muy variados y deliciosos.
Food excellent. Server inattentive, had to ask for him multiple times for basic needs.
Absolutely fantastic evening!
Beautiful restaurant. Fantastic food and service. Great location steps away from upscale hotels in Copley square.
Fabulous food and wine with spectacular service. It was a business dinner and all were impressed!
Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Good acoustics.
Very enjoyable evening.
Such a great and fancy place
Very romantic atmosphere, the food was amazing, would definitely recommend one of the pastas as appetizer as they can split the portion for 2. We had the gnudi which was melt in your mouth amazing. She had the veal saltambucco which was possibly the best veal I've ever had. I had the rib eye which did not disappoint.
Excellent service and delicious, creative dishes. Sorellina is a great restaurant for special dining with out of town visitors.
Wonderful cuisine and service. Definitely pricey from drinks to food. Completely responsive to gluten free needs.
Very enjoyable dinner... excellent and different Italian
very nice but very expensive
great for special night out
$18.00 for a mixed drink is a bit silly.
Sorellina is a gem. I've eaten here numerous times, and each and every time they deliver a great overall experience. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Boston.
10 year anniversary. Food was excellent and wine delicious. Service was generally good although there was a very strange robotic behaving woman who just seemed to never stop at pouring water.
Overall was good though. Had the meatballs and they were delicious. They brought us complimentary sorbet at the end and chocolates as it was our anniversary.
Very expensive meal though. Two main courses and a bottle of wine, including gratuity was $200.
Perfect tuna tatare, excellent veal saltimboca, easy to converse and attentive but not intrusive service.
Best gnocchi and lobster meal. Can’t wait to go back
Sorellina is our favorite restaurant in Boston, our go-to restaurant for family occasions and celebrations. In our party of seven, everyone had something different, with some shared appetizers, and every dish was outstanding. The pastas are out of this world. The food tends to be rich, which we like, and if you like buttery pastas this is the restaurant for you. The chicken and steak were also sublime. I can never pass up the tuna appetizer, best in the city, nor the "cioccolata" fallen chocolate cake, also best in the city. The service was warm and efficient, accommodating one of our party who arrived late, and we were allowed to linger as long as we wanted.
I frequently have dinner in Ostra and Mistral. I was expecting the same quality in the third sibling, Sorellina. Unfortunately I’m very disappointed in the food I was served.
We ordered the Tuna, Caesar Salad and the special Asparagus soup for starters. While the ingredients were top quality, especially the yellowfin Tuna, the prep was definitely messed up.
So here goes; Tuna was almost bitter cause of the white wine in the Aioli sauce. The caesar was basically Romaine salad with parmesan and garlicky olive oil, totally lacked aesthetic appeal and last but not least, the Asparagus soup was half watered-down Humus with very heavy sesame oil. We sent back the soup after one spoon each.
The main course was Halibut and Salmon. I have no grievances about the Halibut except the level of saltines but my wife ordered the salmon cooked to medium which turned out to be medium rare at most. Real problem with the Salmon was its sauce. I never saw that much sweet corn at a fine dining dish. The taste of poor prime mushrooms were overpowered by it and the sauce caused a big contradiction to the taste of Salmon.
If you love seafood, Sorellina is definitely not the best option in Boston!
The ambiance, level of service etc. are top notch but I go to such restaurants to have a satisfying fine-dining experience. This night was not one of those...
We brought an important guest from California to our favorite restaurant. She was very impressed. The food was super delicious. Our server Kirk was very efficient and nice as always.
WE love Sorellina as it is consistently great from the service to the food and the atmosphere!! Always happy here!!
Sorellina is by far the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area ... even the folks, living in the North End of Boston, would do themselves a favor if they made a trip to Copley Square for a superb Italian meal ... yes, its a little pricey, however, the food quality and the superb service make it worth every penny!!!
From the minute our party met your Assistant General Manager Daniel to our beautiful seating arrangement, to Nancy and her wait staff, the exceptional tasting food, to the Valet service.....
Your organization surely has it down perfectly. Keep doing what you do because you are doing it better than most. Do not change a thing!
Perfect food . The best order was the gnocchi!
Just a tremendous overall experience. The food was excellent and wait staff was superb, no where better to go in the city than here. Outstanding!
Elegant and delicious, we were impressed by the decor and the beautifully prepared classic cuisine. We enjoyed it so much that the prices were not an issue. It’s definitely a special occasion experience.
Very pretty restaurant. Professional server. Limited choices but very good food.
The food at Sorellina ALWAYS satisfies !! The menu is creative and each course blends well. We dine there on almost every visit to Boston. This happened to be our
Generally, we are able to give rave reviews to our server. That is not the case this time, and it wasn’t about the “service” per se, which was fine. It was about “attitude”.
The server was polite and we got everything we ordered on a timely basis, but he just wasn’t “there”. Maybe it was simply a bad day, but he clearly would have preferred to be somewhere else......
Wonderful and delicious as always!
It is simply perfect
