An Italian friend originally from NJ told me that Sopranos was the best Italian restaurant that he'd ever been to. Always skeptical of superlative evaluations, I had to see for myself. He was right!! I had the veal parmigiana and my wife, the eggplant rolatini. Both arrived crispy with pasta drenched in a fresh sauce/not over cooked. Definitely will return to work our way through the rest of their menu. Friendly staff, informal atmosphere and reasonable prices

The food and service was outstanding. The only thing, I wish for more ambiance. It's a fairly new restaurant, so perhaps they will gain more customers and can do more later.

Food is always very fresh and tasty. Service is great. It makes you feel like you're eating with your friends family. This little place is a diamond in the rough!

They were down 1-2 wait staff, but worked through it very honestly and professionally. Even though down wait staff, our dishes came out fairly quickly and the food was top notch. We really enjoyed the food and the owner and wait staff were great. Highly recommend Sopranos.

They have a wide variety of excellent food. It is well prepared, presented, and has excellent taste. The restaurant is small, but it is quiet with pleasant music playing in the background. They have wine and some beer in bottles and on tap, as well as soft drinks and tea. The staff was pleasant and attentive, which made for a very pleasant time for all. Everyone was happy with the food, and location. We will return.

My wife and I have eaten here a few times now and have never had better Italian food in all of Raleigh. We are never disappointed. Great staff and service. If you know what authentic Italian is supposed to taste like, then you won't be disappointed, for those whom are used to Olive Garden or other Franchise type Italian, well then you are in for a big surprise because this is not anything like that. Best part is that it is located in my neighborhood. AND the meatballs...WOW. Its hard to find a restaurant that has a meatball that is not dry or has no taste. These are over sized and full of flavor. Eggplant Parm is very delicious and cooked brilliantly. We will keep coming back because I want Sopranos to stay forever. Lets make this special place a staple in our neighborhood. Bravo!

It was completely awful. I would stay away from this place. First off, made a reservation on OpenTable. When we walked in someone greeted us and told us to sit wherever. Thank goodness we got there somewhat early as they weren't even checking to see if anyone had reservations. I have to say the waitstaff was doing the best they could. However, it took over an hour for our food to come to us as some people had waited over an hour. The owner was in the kitchen and would not come out to address multiple angry customers. He left it upon his staff to address the issues. Not how a business is to be run. I will never enter the doors of this place again. I overheard customers that this wasn't the first time with these issues. Stay away!!!!!!

The Sopranos Grill quickly became a favorite place for a date night with my husband. Every bite I have taken there has been full of wonderful flavor, from appetizers through dessert. The food is delivered fresh and hot to the table, and the waiter remembers your dessert preferences. If I could give more stars for the taste of the food, I would!
