   Nice place to enjoy a date night or a family dinner. The food was ok, and the service was good. The only thing you need to be careful of is that they automatically add 20%gratuite to the bill. Usually, this happens if you come over with a big group, but in our case, we just arrived four of us.

   What a great place to experience! The customer service and of course the FOOD. This was the first time for us to go there and we will definitely be going back. To be able to taste and enjoy the culinary cuisine of Eastern Europe was such a nice change. Our waiter was exceptionally too!

   Simeon was our waiter. He made the whole dining experience fantastic with his stories and humor. He was always there if we needed anything, knew the menu inside and out and wasn't afraid to make suggestions, if asked. We went for a taste of Romanian style cuisine, which they didn't really have, but it was very close. (If they only had palenta.) The food, however, was fantastic. It was our first time in the restaurant, but it will definitely not be the last.

    My wife and I went on a Saturday night and were disappointed with the overall service. Though pleasant in attitude, the place seemed to be poorly managed. We enjoyed our food well enough but won't likely return given the number of alternatives with good service. It took nearly 40 minutes to get out food and the ambiance was... confusing? It reads like a sports bar but seems to want to be a more upscale restaurant.

    Food was just acceptable. Had stuffed cabbage -- disappointing to say the least. Two small cabbage rolls for $17.50! No side dishes, no rolls. Twenty per cent gratuity added to the bill for only 2 people with no notice of this policy beforehand. Servers were cordial. I would not dine there again.

    We were cautious to go to a Bar and Grill for Christmas brunch. ARE WE EVER GLAD WE DID!! The food is amazing, the staff are amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful. We will definitely return, and will definitely tell everyone how wonderful our visit was.

    When we went to the restaurant, they didn’t have our reservation from this app. We almost didn’t have a table to eat at. Limited menu and the food was ok but not for the price. Way to expensive.

    Dined for Thanksgiving Dinner. Went early so crowd was no problem. Seated immediately and staff was wonderfully attentive but not bothersome throughout meal. Portion sizes were great, food was great and desserts were exceptional! I’d highly recommend giving Sophie’s a try. You won’t be disappointed.

    What a gem! I actually found Sophie’s through OpenTable’s ratings & recommendations. I checked out the photos and menu and it looked perfect for hosting my son’s future in-laws, who were in from out of state. Desi greeted us herself. Our waiter was Dali, and he was outstanding. We had 3 bottles of wine, appetizers and dinner, plus desserts. Everything was delicious and I was surprised that our bill wasn’t as bad as I expected. This restaurant is both sophisticated and casual, which makes it a perfect choice for many occasions. And again, the food was delicious. We had Hungarian Goulash, the stuffed peppers and the pasta, as well as the stuffed figs and the bries appetizers. The bacon-wrapped figs are AMAZING. Don’t sleep on this restaurant.     Great food and prices. I wouldn’t recommend a mojito or any drink with mint as it was not fresh. If you are looking for a quiet place, definitely go before the DJ and dancing starts. I will definitely be going back for the food.

    My food came out last after the whole table was served and other tables served that were seated after us. Ordered steak tips medium. They were well done. Waiter did well considering big party. But also got charged for coleslaw that wasn’t ordered.

    Rude wait staff, incorrect orders, and stale bread. Absolutely the worst food. Overcooked hamburgers, cold hard fries, and the stuffed cabbage leaves should never be put on a plate. Lack of seasoning, food thrown on plate, dirty tables - just say no.

    Not equipped to manage busy times. Had made reservation for Mother’s Day and had to wait in a long line to get seated. Food was mediocre and one dish was served completely cold. Horrible experience and was looking forward to it based off reviews. Person in line ahead of me said they are good when they aren’t busy.

    First lead waiter/host was absolutely a gentleman/personable from start to finish. DJ is great, if you don’t care for sit down eating, you’ll enjoy it. It was my husband’s birthday, Mother’s Day weekend, all (7-9) triangle colleges were holding graduations. So I had few choices. I didn’t expect “A” game service. This wasn’t even “D” game service. Waitress started out very promising. 5 of 7 people had arrived and the tables were wobbly. She quickly got cardboard to level them, got on her knees to fix. Then took our orders…it was downhill from there. She didn’t take orders in stages (drinks-appetizers-entrees). Said she could take whatever and stagger the order…not. We got water, waited, then soda for one person, waited, then upon questioning, my husband got his soda… more waiting the rest of us didn’t order anything else to drink . We saw what a struggle this was. Mind you, from the very beginning one person ordered a Mojito. Notice I haven’t mentioned that it came. At 45 mins after ordering we’re wondering where the appetizers were. We asked and she said she would check. Twenty mins later one couple got appetizers and entree… but still no mojito. No one else got food and those two sodas that the guys got were long gone. I’m about to run out of characters so cutting to the chase. Food took forever, after First lead waiter/host repeatedly asking about it. At one point waitress came to table freshly reeking of cigarette smoke. Lead waiter/manager and bartender sincerely apologized said wait person was new (idk, but it didn’t feel like she was new)we got free dessert plate long before the rest of food came, oh and a mojito. (Comp’ed) Wait staff raved chef was great Bulgarian cook. Menu is Greek influenced, yum right? Not. Very disappointing, bland flavor. Tough asparagus and pasta means. Turns out another friend had been 3xs based on a bar fly’s recommendation. Her experience was ours, right down to “Bulgarian chef” line… they won’t go back and neither will we
