   It’s our first time to try the mud crab in Song Bird and OMG the crab fat is so rich in flavour and the mouthful of crabmeat is so delicious. This is definitely the best mud crab we’ve tried for a long time. The other dishes like the Peking duck and banana pudding are good as usual. Very attentive and approachable service. Song Bird is now my partner’s most favorite Chinese restaurant in Sydney. And for sure we will return.

   First time at Song Bird. Immediately greeted by friendly smiling staff. Table waiter was very attentive & offered great dishes. Very knowledgeable on the dishes. Food was fantastic. My favourite dishes were the tofu eggplant 🍆 & Peking duck. Juicy tender succulent duck wrapped in pancake is to die for. I will be back for sure. Neil Perry. You’ve done it again!    Song Bird this evening was absolutely beautiful. We started with amazing beef tartare and tuna sashimi that was so fresh it was jumping off the plate. We then indulged in the prawn wontons and lobster scallop spring rolls that are worth their weight in gold. We then feasted on the obligatory beef pancake alongside a couple of other amazing dishes. I’ve already rebooked for next week.

   Fabulous food. We ate downstairs but would have preferred the upstairs dining area if given the option.

   Song Bird is just getting better and better. The lobster and scallop spring rolls are back on the menu and believe me they are the very best you'll get anywhere. We also had some lovely whole prawn wontons done in a tasty black vinegar with chilli. The beef pancake is an absolute must and then into the peking duck for a main is a great dish to share. A delicate chow mein was superb and along with the excellent service and wine suggestions we all had a really great evening.

    Fabulous range of high quality food and all served by a very professional and friendly team - The Variety of food was impressive and all six of us had an outstanding night out.
