Smoked Beet Tartare
cumin yogurt, goat gouda, sunflower seed, seeded cracker
caramel apples, whipped cream, peanuts
spicy tomato, feta, merguez sausage, grilled bread
We had a reservation for inside because outside was not an option but they ended up having room on the patio and the heaters kept us perfectly warm! Food was great except the Tuna Tartare - first time tasted like salt was accidentally dumped on it. Second attempt was better but the olives they garnish it with are little salt blocks. They took it off our bill which was really nice. They were out of the Oregon Pinot but the French Bourgogne Pinot was a nice replacement.
wonderful and I hope you continue to stay open through the winter months!
We were seated 90 minutes after our original reservation time and were unable to get beverages while we waited. The organization was not yet there yet, but food was good as usual. Safety was still a priority which was appreciated. Just wish I wasn't eating dinner at 10:30pm!
Absolutely my favorite restaurant in the city. The atmosphere, design and food are all incredible. Highly recommend for date night!
Excellent service. All food was delicious and creative.
I would have rated all 5 stars if our outside table wasn’t quite as close to the one next to it. It is a good place to dine outside because they have regular outside seating so it isn’t cobbled together.
The porcini crusted salmon was among the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. The Brussels sprouts were excellent.
The staff was friendly and on top of everything. The menu can be scanned so you don’t have to touch one. There is hand sanitizer on each table.
It was great to be out with friends at a lovely spot.
We had a reservation for a patio table but when we got there we were told that patio was first come first serve and there was a 2 hour wait. We were then seated inside and told they would bring out some sparkling wine to help turn the night around- but they never did. Additionally, the service was not great. We ordered a salad with dressing on the side- the dressing didn’t come until the salad was gone. We also ordered Brussels sprouts and risotto as sides to our entrees but they didn’t come out until we were half way through with the entrees. Overall very disappointed.
We reluctantly went first night restaurant was open. It was marvelous. We love its sister restaurant S.K. Y. and Somerset didn't disappoint. Food items similar, but slightly different take. We are thrilled to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.
Great experience overall and thank you so much for the added little donut birthday with the candle. Nice touch!
Lunch was amazing! I got the turkey sandwich and salad and it was so fresh and satisfying! We also got the crispy sandwich and it was very flavorful. Great ambiance - highly recommend!
Food was delicious: server was very helpful, overall great experience.
This was our 2nd visit to Somerset and it was just as good as the first time. The service was friendly and efficient, the appetizers were excellent and the main course was nicely prepared and tasted great. I just wish the room was a little quieter. Perhaps next time we'll request the upstairs seating.
Beautiful place and space! Definitely dress up. Non-casual attire suggested. Moderately priced along with friendly staff. Will be dining here again.
Good food go often
I went to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and it was perfect. They even placed his name on the menu wishing him a happy birthday along with a cake. Overall a wonderful experience with delicious food.
Another outstanding lunch at Somerset. Delicious chicken and rice soup and a wonderful kale and brussel sprouts salad. And a shout-out for their bread, which is delicious. And a scrumptious trifle to finish the meal. It was a wonderful birthday meal!
Outstanding food and service. Ambiance is fantastic.
Great food and service in an elegant, modern setting. The menu features a variety of small and large plates.
awesome. amazing food and great service! get the mango cheesecake pop tart and crispy chicken sandwich!
Food and service was above average. Ambiance is excellent (really cool bar). Value wasn’t great, especially on the drinks ($15 for a very subpar Bloody Mary). But overall I would recommend and go back.
Benjamin and Bradley were awesome and the food was amazing. Great ambiance and get the meatballs and little gem salad.
A great find. Tasty meals with interesting and thoughtful mixes of flavors and ingredients. And they signed our menus with Happy Anniversary which was a great touch!!
This place is simply amazing. Had a very pleasant dinner here. Food was amazing and our server was perfect with the service.
Wonderful!!! 100% would recommend
Great fried chicken and French toast!
Food was mediocre at best - overpriced for the quality. Will not return. Great space and wine list.
Somerset started off by making us wait for 20m for our confirmed reservation. Drinks were tasty while waiting. Once seated, we reviewed the limited menu but decided on a good course of action. Appetizer and Pasta courses arrived promptly. Odd that multiple people would come to our table but take only "some" things away that we were done with. Delay to entree course and then our server sort of went missing. More folks visited the table, again clearing only some things at a time. Long delay to dessert course and also long to place that order. No offer of coffee whatsoever. Just sort of odd pacing and things that you'd assume would happen didn't. Things typically offered weren't. Rhythm just seemed off, but food was good overall.
Love love love this place! Out of a 10 it’s a 15!
The manager and waiter very polite. They sat us a half an hour after original reservation and offered a complimentary chefs dish. Great service!
Sat us by doors and it was zero and the draft made the entire dinner uncomfortable! Additionally food was good but not worth the cost...
The ambiance and service were great. The food was inconsistent. Steak was chewy and overcooked. Hamachi crudo and lobster pasta special were good. Flatbread was a little heavy on the onion. Probably a better place to hang for a nice drink than a full-fledged meal.
Food was amazing.
Very swanky and stylish digs with a polished industrial vibe. Service was phenomenal - we literally ordered exactly what our Server recommended and could not have been more satisfied. We will be back!!
Service was exceptional and the food matched. I will return as the experience was well worth the cost.
I love the lunch specials at Somerset and the bread is yummy!
Went there for restaurant week and I can’t say enough about how good the options were. My favorite was the flat iron grill steak... I normally like my steak rare but this was medium rare and to die for. The only thing I would suggest is to make the plates a little smaller since it was four courses but obviously I didn’t need to eat it all... I’ll definitely be frequenting it a lot more.
perfect for a Sunday Brunch! Ideal place to showcase the city to out of town visitors
Went for brunch for a friend’s birthday and it was meh. Just OK. My friend got avocado toast and I got shakshuka basically (baked eggs) and honestly, it wasn’t great. Can’t say I’d like to go back but if I did, I’d try the chicken and french toast for brunch or the burger for dinner.
We have dined at Somerset before, and found the atmosphere to be charming and the noise level totally acceptable. However, this time it was a noise level that was way too loud. We did request from our waitress that the volume be adjusted downward, but that did not happen. It really impacted the conversation at our table to the point that we couldn’t wait to leave.
Server was great! Food was amazing!
