Solas is an exciting new outdoor drinking and dining experience at The Savoy with Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This exclusive short-season ‘pop up’ is available until 4 July and features an array of wonderful cocktails and an enticing seafood bar. Solas (Scots Gaelic for light, joy and comfort) is stunningly conceived, with a shimmering chandelier as its decorative centrepiece. Open seven days a week, with tables by reservation only – it’s the perfect place to celebrate this unique moment in time. Please note that there will be a minimum spend of £50pp for any bookings made at or after 18:00. All reservations must be secured with credit card details. Cancellation notice is 24 hours. For late cancellations or no-shows, a £50 fee applies.

Lovely drinks and surroundings. Servers were very attentive but drinks took a very long time (15-20 mins) to arrive.

Our Server was Adrian and he was amazing. The whole experience was totally brilliant and I hope the Savoy keep this as a great place for others to enjoy

Lovely setting....especially the decorative centre piece. Spacious and airy. The food was well presented and tasty. The service perfectly attentive. It was interesting watching the cars and taxis manoeuvring in a tight space! Only (big) downside...the smokers from the theatre swarmed out during the intermission and lit up very close by, which rather spoilt the ambience! Perhaps an agreed space further away from diners could be negotiated!? All in all a very pleasant way to continue to celebrate our Golden Wedding.

Brilliant experience with fabulous decor and surroundings. What a wonderful experience. Service impeccable, delicious fresh seefood, the oysters were like you’ve never tasted before.
