   This is my second time dining at Solare, and I was very disappointed in the service. I had a great experience the first time and decided to bring my six year old this time to celebrate Mother's Day. We ordered bread as an appetizer, but my son's kids meal came out before the bread. I asked for bread again, and then it was brought over. But my son was done eating before the other entrees arrived, which anyone with kids knows is disastrous. There's no way we can enjoy a meal when a six year old is done with theirs and anxious to leave the table. We also had to ask twice for Parmesan cheese after my son's food was arrived. I won't be in a hurry to eat here again anytime soon.

   Great restaurant and excellent food. We had a great Mother’s Day and birthday celebration and our server was very nice.

   First time back here in years. Went with a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. Honestly it was so warm in the restaurant that several of us were actually sweating. The hostess said the AC was on and was directed at the table but the only cool air we felt was when we finally opened a window. Our waiter was adequate but lacked energy, probably because it was so hot. We ate and got out of there instead of lingering and having more drinks and dessert.

   Soup bowl portion size was comically small (probably about 3 oz.) as was the Caesar salad and desert portions. Nice service, slow kitchen. Delicious Lemon Drops.

   This was our first time at Solare, and we're already looking forward to going back! We were celebrating my birthday, and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in our own private wine room. So many items on the menu were tempting; we ordered the home-made lasagna and they were kind to prepare the Sicilian-style pistachio crusted lamb chops, even though it's not on their lunch menu. We were pleased with the portion size and quality of the meals, which were both unique to anything we have had like that before. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and it was a great experience overall.

    I've been dining here for over a decade, and it never fails to impress. My go-to dish is the fish special, which has featured everything from halibut to, most recently, opah. Each plate is beautifully composed—smashed potatoes, salted spinach, and a delicate topping of dried leeks—creating the perfect balance of flavors. Whether I’ve arrived with a reservation or walked in spontaneously, the wait has never been too long. The service is consistently excellent, making every visit enjoyable from start to finish. A truly reliable gem that delivers time and time again!
