    We had such a great experience at Sol! This was our first time since our company moved to the area. The food was amazing and Nicholas was great!

    We had two servers, bar and dining. Both were very good! It did take the bar about 8 to 10 min. to bring us menus. several passed us by without helping us and it was not busy. One issue, we gave the dining server our parking ticket, she took it to validate and brought it back. When we exited the parking it did not allow us to leave without paying. We had cars behing us so had to use a credit card to pay for the parking. Our first time at this restaurant. I think she gave us the original ticket back instead of the validated one or if you use the same ticket it did not have the validation on it. The gate read the ticket but no validation. Food was good but, skimpy for the price.

    We dine at SOL in Irvine weekly. I book at OpenTable before we go, and I clicked on Anniversary for our most current visit. When we arrived, no host was there to greet us. A waiter finally saw us waiting and seated us. Not once did a host or our waiter congratulate us.

    2nd time coming here and the service has gotten worst. It was a very slow night and the server was always missing. I had to get up to find her to order drinks, to order food, to order more drinks, to order more food, and to get the check. It was a business dinner and I had also asked to lower than the glaring music which they never got to do for us. Ambiance is nice but the service is worst than a fast food place. Many better options out there. This place is not worth it.

    Our family went and our kids meals thankfully came out within 5 minutes, however our entrees took almost an hour. The server was nice about it, but rather simple orders should not take so long.

    We normally have a great time at Sol, however, service was the opposite of the norm and drinks were also off last night 8/22/24.

    Our server was incredibly kind, and so was all of the staff we encountered! Service is on the slower side, but the food is incredible and the ambience is amazing!
