   It isn't always easy to eat out with a 10yr old without having to go to the normal family chain restaurants. But I have to say that all the staff at the Society Restaurant were excellent. Made us feel welcome, paid special attention to us and made sure our drinks were topped up and that we were happy with our food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is staying at the hotel or visiting the area (Olympia).

   They were very accommodating! I booked for about 20 people for my graduation but 30 or so people ended up coming and at no extra charge, they moved us to a whole private room with a long table. It was wonderful!

   Our waitress, Vania, was superb. And the food was lovely too. The duck was extraordinary.

   have never bothered to visit before as usually don't like hotel restaurants. however, it is extremely close to where we live and on an impulse decided to give it a try. was very surprised at the quality of the food and the service was excellent. the dining room is very attractive and the bill was reasonable. and at the end of it, all we had to do was stagger round the corner home!

   The choice of food was varied although my wife struggled to choose a starter. All were delicious, and very well presently. Our only disappointment was when I asked for the wine menu, no one came back to take the order, this was disppointing enough, but once ordered, the bottle never arrived until we'd finished our main courses, and was "dumped", unopened on the table. The wine hadn't been chilled and no ice bucket was provided. Final disappointment was deserts served by leaning across our guest

   The menu had changed significantly since our last visit to the restaurant. There was a shift to upmarket pizzas which did look very appetizing. We opted for the set menu 2 courses for £14.95 3 courses for £16.95. Each course was excellent. The shin of beef was particularly delicious melt in the mouth. The service was good. The only down side was the noise. There was a large party in quite a small space with low ceilings.

   Very nice atmosphere in modern surroundings. The children's meals were particularly good value cooked from fresh ingredients and not the usual frozen offering.
