American Cuisine that celebrates the best that Nebraska has to offer. Chef John Engler's contemporary twist on heritage dishes is executed in a thoughtful way. The menu utilizes exceptional product prepared in such a way to showcase the local farmers dedicated work. Dishes are presented simply yet include touches that are unexpected.

Join us for a tasting menu from three to eight courses prepared daily by Chef Engler.

The dishes anchoring the menu are complimented by a curated wine and cocktail list prepared by our in house sommeliers and craftsmen.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, Society 1854 is an Omaha “Must Dine” option.

It is a nice restaurant, nice location. Just thought the menu was limited. I had the salmon and it was good,

Very good food but too much noise pollution. Would recommend but on a quiet night, not good if you want a intimate setting. Food was very well prepared.

Located inside the Marriott Hotel, upscale decor. Limited menu options for Valentine’s Day, but overall delicious. We will go back again to try the regular menu options. Definitely recommend!

The manager would not accommodate breakfast for us. We arrived 10 minutes before breakfast closed and she told us we’d have to eat from the breakfast buffet. She said the kitchen was closing for breakfast. Then the buffet food was very cold and didn’t taste good at all. The ambiance was nice as we sat by the window. Our waiter was great. But I was surprised that the manager was inflexible and not accommodating at all. Shameful for a hotel restaurant manager!

very nice food, Limited menu, but when I say VERY VERY SLOW it was 1:45 after ordering before the food came to the table.

Food and service was outstanding. Family style Thanksgiving buffet brought to the table. We also got to take home our leftovers. Glad we made this choice.
