My passion is cooking tasty regional cuisines featuring fresh, local, organic and natural meats, vegetables and fruits. Before I graduated from the California Culinary Academy and attended the Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School in Paris, I was taught to bake pies by my Aunt Audye. Her teaching led me to create an apple pie that won Blue Ribbon for the Best Apple Pie at the State Fair of Texas, a Blue Ribbon for the Best Chocolate Pecan Pie at the Blanco County Fair and other awards.

I was raised on Texas BarBQ and studied the technique of the famous smokehouse chef Sonny Bryan in Dallas. At the California Culinary Academy I developed the recipe for my signature dish Tea-Smoked Salmon. I am bringing all the cooking skills I learned in Texas, California and France together at SMOKE BERKELEY. I hope you will join me and taste the difference.

The food was good. The guys working there seemed burnt-out and not happy to be at work. The place has not had a deep cleaning in years. Good potential if the owner improves employee morale, and cleans the place up.

My favorite BBQ joint! The ribs and brisket are special favorites and every side is wonderful, but we especially love the beans, mac 'n cheese and collard greens. Be sure to try the chocolate pecan pie. Service is quick and super friendly and the owner always makes you feel welcome. I threw my husband a small birthday party at Smoke and guests are still talking about the great food.

This place was great. Very small seating area but some amazing food and wonderful people working here! Food is a bit pricey, but most BBQ in the region is.

Smoke Berkeley is a local BBQ place serving home BBQ, I hate giving bad reviews I ordered but the good is plant taste even the corn bread taste ridiculous. But the plus side of it the owner Tina was probably best very friendly to all the customers,the food however is. Not that good

The owner Tina was very friendly and made time to talk to us as a group of friends getting together. The service was great. A gem in the neighborhood. Great BBQ and comfort food.

Everything is home-made and infused with BBQ flavor but the salmon is my absolute favorite because it is so unique. AS well, the sides of crazy corn salad and jalapeno mac and cheese along with the cheezy rice is absolutely delicious. Love the picnic tables out back!!

Delicious food and friendly service. Had the salmon and loved it. Be sure to get the cilantro sauce with it -- heavenly.

They were out of food so we did not stay.... Only had salmon and pork.... Never ate there.
