service was attentive & informative. steak was very good. as the night progressed, it got louder but considering it was early evening in the west end, it was fine.

Exceptional service by our server and sommelier. Food was top quality as always. We woolly continue to come back when we our visiting London.

Really nice food with great service. Setting is lovely. Busy without being too noisy. Had a nice atmosphere. Tomahawk steak was very tasty.

We arrived five minutes early and my partner summed up the restaurant as “an upmarket TGI’s” in appearance. It wasn’t busy and it felt like the building was too big for the restaurant. That said, our waitress was attentive and personable. I advised her that we had a theatre reservation and she advised in return that we should order quickly. That wasn’t a problem as I was always going to order the tomahawk with a couple of sides…..and that’s where it all fell apart. The waitress made an excellent choice in wine for my partner, and for over an hour, that was the last we saw of her or anything else for that matter. No bread, no olives, no anything. I chased the food order and was told it would be soon. Seventy minutes after ordering, my partner and I had to hurriedly devour a 900g tomahawk with sides. The food was excellent, possibly the best creamed spinach I’ve tried in fact. We shovelled the food down, paid the bill…..and it was at that point that I realised I’d been charged for someone else’s dish (the amount on the machine was different to that of the receipt!), so they had to refund the extra. We literally made the start of the theatre in the nick of time, feeling hurried and exhausted. To treat your partner to a meal costing over £220 and to have the whole experience ruined because we only had 15 minutes to eat it, was such a shame. It’s not something that we do on a regular basis. The waitress and the food were great but the service from the kitchen, the lack of anything whilst we waited and the extra on the PDQ machine (the itemised receipt was correct!) ruined a birthday treat.

Lovely venue for a steak meal. Immaculate well presented restaurant. Great service with food and wine recommendations. We were celebrating and knew it was not going to be cheap but you get what you pay for and everything was tasty - steak (rib eye), mash, chips, onion ring tower, mushrooms and cheese cake desert. Several cocktails all lovely and wine selection is extensive. It was our 2nd visit and there will be a 3rd.
