The service was very good from the staff and the drinks were also delicious with speedy service.

We said in our booking that we were going t I the theatre but the waitress didn’t know so we had to let her know when we arrived she then made the kitchen aware. We were told that there wasn’t any chicken curry but only chicken red curry. Loads of other dishes with chicken. Meal came up promptly and we made it in time to the theatre.

All members of staff managed to serve us without making eye contact or smiling once. Our waiter seemed not to understand the concept of a restaurant or cutlery. When we asked a waitress for some salt she said she wasn’t sure they had any?! The starters arrived with the mains an hour after they were ordered. Our empty plates stayed on our table until just as we were about to leave a new waitress arrived and started clearing, she asked if everything had been Ok for us….. She then bought us a round of free drinks. If I was considering a Slug & Lettuce again I may instead choose a prison canteen, the food could well be better, the service cheerier and the cutlery more readily available.

Food was fantastic the steak sandwich was 10/10 and the burgers was incredible. Christmas menu out for food and drinks amazing !. Good service think the girls were called Meg and Maddie. Made sure everything was perfect for us everything Was ready when we arrived. Loved the candles lit on all the tables nice little touch. Will be returning. Thank you slug and lettuce.

I had chicken wrap, it’s was alright. Nothing wow. My friend had fried prawn, it’s very over cooked. We didn’t really enjoy that much.

Don’t like to complain but considering we eat at 5pm on a Thursday did not expect to be told that the two main dishes we wished to order were not available ?? Service was poor too. Not very friendly!
