Honestly one of the best dining experiences ever. Everything we tried was excellent as well as the service. We are major foodies and this place has become one of our favourites. We can’t wait to have our next SLC Eatery experience!
It was a lovely experience! Unique flavor combinations, wonderful atmosphere and courteous staff. Was in town for the DōTERRA convention, hope to dine here again when in town for DōTERRA’s 2022 convention!
inventive and very tasty. all we can ask for a restaurant
It was our first time visiting and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The only negative is the service. Our waitress was friendly and got our order correctly, but service is slow……
We would have ordered more beverages, but we waited too long and decided to go somewhere else to end our evening.
We love SLC Eatery...their location, staff and ever changing menu. We really enjoy ordering items from the cart. Portions are perfect for tasting and sharing. This visit we loved the savory scones and pressed watermelon. For entrees we had the Utah corn miso carbonara and the Nova Scotia scallops. Both were delicious and portions were enough to take some home. Desserts are always incredible and this time we shared the chocolate mousse. Heavenly! Kristen was our server and she was friendly, professional and helpful with menu selections. We look forward to our next visit!
We are frequent diners and this is my first review ever on open table after being a member for years. The dining experience was perfect, seriously! Wonderful and cozy outdoor space, the indoor dining we walked through to get on the patio was unique and well done, so was the food. We had brunch and shared 6 dishes. Every element of each dish was crafted and was in harmony. The servers were pleasant, knowledgeable and timely. I didn’t meet the owner or chef but loved the attention to detail and could definitely see every detail has been pondered about his restaurant and food, well done!!!
We will be back soon.
Such a great find! We throughly enjoyed this hidden gem on our way through Salt Lake. Food VERY good service was fantastic.
Hands down my favorite dining experience in Utah. I look forward to my weekly visits!
Really great food and ambience!! Little pricey for some of the portions, but excellent food!
Was a nice place, friendly staff. Location was not the best but I would stop in again.
Really bland food to the point of not being tasty at all. The only reason we ate some of them was because we were starving. We skipped the entrees and had dessert. One was a chocolate cylinder with a tablespoon smear of peanut butter sauce . So, you run out it the peanut butter sauce way beige the chocolate. My 18 year old didn’t even want to finish it.
. We were really surprised since it was recommend to us a few times . But the tapas, we ordered 5, were OK, not great. Bland and one kinda sucked .
Restaurant ambience was nice and service was good .
Food was outstanding and our server Kristen was awesome
I’ve eaten here at least half a dozen times. Always a great experience, and I leave full and feeling good. Food doesn’t follow the ‘fat is flavor’ mantra that makes me regret my meal after a few hours. Sometimes the drinks are really slow, but were was much faster on my last visit. I like that the menu changes regularly, and has nice variety of dishes reflecting local, seasonal items. Tables are well spaced.
Love the Open kitchen vibe and the diverse menu from homemade pasta to unique way to prepare or grill pork, and chicken. I want to come back for the hamburger with brioche bun and crispy fries. Our server, Skylar, was engaging attentive, and described the food options well. The moving cart of apps accompanied by a cool guy explains the options was fun and original.
Love this place. Great food, great service. One of the best restaurants in Salt Lake
Good and fast service. The food was good and plentiful
Actually had our table ready for us right at reservation time which is something I don’t think I’ve ever had before anywhere. Friendly staff. Great recommendations. Savory and sweet scones are both fabulous. Also the omelette, French toast, Okonomitaki Benedict and kimchi bowl were a hit. Can’t wait to go back!
The servers were amazing and they were very flexible with our party. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Delightful place with gorgeous and tasty food. Took my daughter for her 13th birthday and loved it.
Took 10 mins to be greeted by the server. Food arrived pretty quickly and was very good. Drinks did not arrive until we had almost finished our meal. The server seemed indifferent about it all. I probably wouldn’t be back because of the bad service.
Sophisticated dishes (Grilled calamari + fried rice, Bison steak and Scallops) with many interesting greens and flavor profile. Staffs are friendly and attentive. A nice relatively new restaurant in SLC.
The service was excellent, from the moment we were greeted when we walked in, to our server, to the staff bringing around the food cart. The selection of dishes was excellent. We did a combination of small plates from the food cart and entrees and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back.
The okonomiyaki was not crispy and overly salty. There was no sauce, other than just the hollandaise. The potato squares were unusual and while I like fried/crisp, it was a little too thick.
We really enjoyed our visit. We felt like the tres leches French toast was pretty unremarkable- could have used some whipped cream and the caramel sauce on the plate to make it seem like more than normal French toast.
We usually love SLC Eatery for dinner, but we were definitely let down by their brunch. Food was mediocre, not many options and nothing was impressive other than the breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were amazing.
The frosé was something I was pretty excited about… But it was honestly awful - Just tasted like watered down rosé. I’ve had plenty of frosé in my life to know this one was not good at all.
Service was great as usual. Will definitely return for dinner but never again for brunch.
Delicious food and beautifully presented. I will definitely return.
Great eating experience! Will definitely return. Food and presentation fantastic.
Service, food and drinks were all 10/10. Will be back.
Brunch crowd. Really good food. A bit loud, but we enjoyed the energy. Server said dinner is a bit more quiet.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED this place and the overall experience. I highly recommend this location to everyone as the food is exceptional and the service was even better. Check it out and keep these guys around.
Food is always creative whimsical and tasty
The food was fantastic. The staff was efficient, knowledgable and accomodating. Loved ordering off the cart while we enjoyed conversation and drinks.
The entre's were delicious and unique. I am excited to return and try more menu items.
The only down side was that the noise level was quite high. We chose this location because it came up as a "quiet" place to eat since a member of our party is partially deaf. When we arrived for our 6:30 reservation the noise level was comfortable. By the time we left at 8:30 it was so loud he could not participate in the conversation. The restaurant was full which is awesome but it was definitely not a quiet place to eat.
Inventive and exciting menu. Delicious drinks. Lovely and restrained service. Cozy and welcoming ambiance indoor (outdoor was too hot that day).
Fantastic, creative food and a super-friendly, very knowledgeable server made for a perfect evening for 4 of us. We'll be back!
This was our first time there. The food was great. The wait staff was extrodinary. This is definitely a do over.
Menu was a little light on sharable dishes for appetizers. Usually there is a trolley with small dishes wheeled around but I guess not during brunch.
Our server, Katie, was absolutely exceptional in every single way. The food was delicious, but the quality of service we received will definitely have us back there again!
SLC Eatery has become an almost weekly outing for us. The menu changes enough that we are not at all bored with the menu and look forward to the dim sum cart and what interesting things are being offered. The service is always impeccable and really friendly. And of course, the scones are to die for.
Always a perfect brunch experience
It was delicious! We weren’t sure at first when we approached the building but it exceeded our expectations.
