   We really used to enjoy having dinner at Slapfish but they are no longer a relaxing FULL SERVICE restaurant. The host checked us in, handed us the menu and pointed to our table. Then informed us that when we decided what we wanted we could go to the counter and order. With basically a full restaurant they only had one register opened. Line was five people deep. They did bring your food to you and filled ice tea but that was all. And of course the prices are still full service prices. Also noticed a couple of the lobster dish are no longer on the menu. Not going back! So disappointing. Said they couldn’t keep staff. Maybe they should pay more.

   My one and only complaint was that the oysters had shells in every bite I took. My daughters both got different pastas and they were delicious. I don’t really even want to say I’m complaining, just bringing it to your attention. I will definitely suggest this to anyone I talk to!

   As good as a seafood restaurant can you’ll find in the Midwest. Legit Maine Lawbstah. Seafood tower was amazing. Went with a large group expecting table service and they no longer offers. I understand - just would have been amazing after 1700 to have true table service. I had to run to my table 4-6 times to ask about sides, soda, etc.

   Loved the food!! Food is excellent always!! Tuna Poke and Blackened Grouper sandwich are my favorite!

   The Hostess went above & beyond accommodating us on a very busy night. The busboy was friendly & attentive.

    It was strange this time. I know the weather was colder so there wasn’t as many customers and I actually didn’t need the reservation. But they no longer have any waiters and waitresses. Now you order with the QR code at the tables or at the counter. Everything else is still the same. Everything was still delicious as always.
