Food was nice, furniture and carpets look tired. Great view. Staff not welcoming, not attentive, forgot to actually deliver what I ordered to table (twice!). Then expected a 15% tip! Over rated - I wouldn’t bother.

the only things that is actually worth it in this place is the view. other than that, it was an awful experience. the service was extremely rude, the food was, at least, disgusting and the overall atmosphere was off. i don’t recommend going there at all.

Excellent location and view, staff was very accommodating, food was good and drinks exceptional. Managed to get a corner window table which gave great view of sunset.

Amazing luxury experience for friend’s 60th for cocktails, perfect temperature during the hot weekend with beautiful views over London, great comfy, luxury decor and fantastic service. We all loved our afternoon at The Sky Lounge with delicious cocktails!

The setting on the 34th level of the Shard is fabulous , as you would expect. The staff we met getting into and up to the lounge were lovely and helpful. We had a booking at 4pm and had a frontline table by the window. It’s London prices as you would expect. £21 for a cocktail. I guess what let it down a bit for us was being told quite curtly that we had the table for 90 minutes and that we had to spend £30 minimum per head. Both of these things we knew anyway, it was the delivery that came across badly. We ordered a vegetarian mezze and ran out of the tortillas to go with the dips, I asked for some more and was told I would have to just buy the dish again, which felt petty. There are plenty of bars with views in London now, so there would be nothing to entice me back to this one again.

We had late night drinks for my son’s 18 th birthday. First time at The Shard . What a wonderful experience ! . The views of London and the building are out of this world . The staff couldn’t do enough for us they were lovely . Thankyou for making our visit so special.

I took my wife there for her birthday and we had a nice table with a great view. The staff went out of their way to give us a great experience and my wife loved it. Try the Sunday Brunch. They had a chocolate fountain and lots of fresh choices. The view is hard to beat and the restaurant seating faces the Thames. I would suggest a reservation. The elevator ride up is amazingly quick and isn’t exposed so it’s okay for those that may be intimidated by heights. For a great birthday give them 24hrs notice and they will have a cake. We loved the place and the great service!

Booked the sky lounge for our 25th Wedding anniversary as part of our weekend stay in London. There were about 10 tables that occupied the windows giving wonderful views of the city . We were seated in a row of three tables behind these , which was somewhat disappointing after stating the reason for visiting in the booking form. I suppose that it was made more disappointing that when window seats became available we were not offered to move to one of them especially as we had booked the latest time slot , We were told on arrival that our slot was for two hours. We had brunch , which was a starter , main , sweets and cheese . A glass of Prosecco was included .We did not want it and we’re not offered an alternative , even a soft drink at this point would have been a good option.We were not offered another drink or drinks menu at any time . The starter and main was good , in fact the steak I had was one of the best I have had in a restaurant ,but food was served lukewarm . Desserts / Cheese were served by two chefs , who served but had no conversation about what they were serving . I found the plates too hot , which was not good for cold desserts and did point this out to a chef who did get me a cold one .Desserts were limitless , but two chefs serving made it somewhat uncomfortable . There was tea and coffee included but we were not told this and only noticed by chance when we saw someone else going to get one from a table in the far corner . We were reminded how long we had left in our slot about 30 mins from the end of it . The bill was £180 including a 12.5% service charge Small tweaks could have made this an amazing experience .Sadly for us on this occasion , is was not .
