Hostess team was great. We got in before our timed reservation and she got our 2 groups of 4 together which she really appreciated. The area is fun and the sunset is gorgeous!!
The waitress was poor. We have done appetizer plates on our table still as she gave us desert and still wouldn't have taken them if we hadn't given them to her. Our food was very burnt. The meet was ok inside so maybe that is the way but it was super burnt. Had to ask for water 3 times. If the service had been better I would have given this a 4.
We were supposed to have indoor reservations but when we got there someone had cancelled their outside seating so we were lucky. Absolutely beautiful views. Waitress was young and very attentive. We had fried clams, filet mignonette kebabs and apple crisp for dessert. Weather was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Call ahead. Open Table reservations requesting outdoor dining aren’t accepted
Must have a reservation or the wait will be long. Seasonal issues with service. Those who are there work really hard...be kind to them.
Waiter John was perfect with his advice about entrees. The sunset was beautiful! Eat outside if weather permits!
Went for a birthday dinner. Seated immediately. Food courses were served at proper intervals. Each course was perfect and rhe food was very good
Every time we dine here it never disappoints! We were seated outside overlooking the beautiful pier. John was our server and was very attentive and accomodating. Our brunch was excellent ever though they were extremely busy and at full capacity! Will definitely be returning sooner than later!
We had two completely different experiences in the same evening. First, we were seated in a noisy area inside, and asked to move outside. Rudely told by the hostess that nothing was available, despite several empty tables. Got moved to another indoor table, in front of a window that was like a mirror, and the noise level was still deafening. As I sat looking at more and more empty tables outside by the dock, we asked our very nice server Marcus if he could ask the hostess again to move us outside. This time, we did get what we wanted, just as our main course was served. Luckily we kept Marcus throughout the evening. It pays to be persistent. As for the food, I liked the oysters, the shrimp and grits, and dessert. It was a nice evening once we got outside, but the hostess needs to go. Tip: Avoid indoor seating!!!
Ate outside in bar area. Mr. Newton was a great server.
I was with my Sweetie!
We were so glad we made reservations, since the walk-ins were being told it would be an hour and 15 min wait. I ordered the Grouper Dockside, which arrived steaming hot and delicious. Hubby got the Dockside Collection. Scallops were tender, with a crab cake and shrimp were included. Our portions were just right, and were left full and satisfied.
One of us had the Grouper and wasn't very happy with it. Said it was small and the potatoes weren't really on the bottom of the dish. Was very unhappy since we have always had great meals at Dockside.
Food was just about OK. Nothing special and definitely not value for money. The service , though, was excellent.
Even though the restaurant was very busy our server, Kevin was always there at the right
