The award-winning Skillet Diner opened in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle in 2011. We’re a neighborhood joint doing our best to make the place feel relaxed, service attentive and easy; the food approachable yet focused. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The style of food is similar to what we’re known for on the airstream …the difference? we have so much more room! Items range from our fennel-crusted fried chicken and waffle to our burger with bacon jam, arugula, and bleu cheese, to our legendary kale Caesar salad.

Great outdoor spot for lunch, with big group. Service was really attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there were a variety of options.

Really lovely service! I was able to get one of their cocktails as a mocktail and I was checked on frequently. I got the breakfast burrito with fries and since it was my birthday I was treated to beignets! Lovely all around and I’ll be back next time I’m in Seattle!

The service was great, super quick and friendly. The food was bland and not worth the $20 plates. The syrup was like sugar water. You can’t skimp on syrup when you’re a breakfast joint.

Chicken and Waffles! Juicy, boneless fried thighs and cornmeal waffle plus 2 eggs (I prefer over medium). Large portion, amazing flavor.

Went to Capital Hill Skillet because our usual anniversary dinner place, Luna Park Cafe, is now closed for dinner. Didn't know they closed at 7, and got there are 6:30. Never felt rushed. Food was great, as always! Burgers and poutine. Then the very sweet waitress brought us a dessert on the house to help us celebrate. Skillet never disappoints!
