Sixty Vines - Plano
Have been here many times. It's a favorite.
We were a bit upset about the food. We spent almost 300$ and neither of us enjoyed much of it. We loved two apps. Meals weren’t good. Desert wasn’t good. Wine was great tho.
Our food was extremely good. Wait staff was wonderful. Only complaint I had was our seating. Did not know we would be out in the greenhouse. We were placed at a table right in front of the door to go outside. The door was constantly being opened by the wait staff going in and out. Many tables were available at the time of our reservation inside the greenhouse. My suggestion would be to use that table last. Very disappointed with our seats but enjoyed the food. Will go back but when I make my reservation next time I will definitely ask for a table inside the restaurant.
Great food & service!
Thank you for being a great place to celebrate my boyfriends’ birthday. He had the rib pork and said it was absolutely amazing. The wine was incredible and they brought him a birthday dessert which was delicious. Unfortunately, I got the market fish and it was just not that great. It was prepared fine, but it didn’t have any flavor. My other issue was it was so cold last night and we were in the greenhouse. I was seated right by the door and the door was opened so frequently. That was not ideal. All in all, I would come back, but hopefully my meal will be better and I will be a little bit more comfortable.
Great time celebrating my wife’s birthday! The cheese board was incredible. Highly recommend sixty vines for special occasions!
Food was bland and a little pricey. Service was very good.
Our first time was great! We are looking forward to our next dining experience.
Food is ALWAYS outstanding!!!! That’s why we continue to come back, but you need to know going in SERVICE is horrible!!! Always ever since it was opened. It’s now a joke we have Food great , when and if you get it !!!
Allison was our server and was phenomenal...great service!
Always amazing food and service. And the wine selection is incredible
Good food great while service was a little disappointing. The server sounded like she had better things to do
Great date night
The shrimp and grain salad is not only delicious but healthy. You need to try it!
Despite starting off great, the service quickly turned bad. We were given menus, and had our drink order taken. When returning with our drinks, our order was not taken. After approx 10min, our waitress came back and asked if would would like an appetizer. We ordered, and she left again. We received our appetizer from someone other than our waitress, before our meal order was even taken. She finally returned and asked how we were doing, we advised we have not even ordered yet. Keep in mind we were almost finish with the appetizer, another 20min had already passed before taking out orders. She apologized, and then blamed the other waitress for the problem. After being seated, She was our only waitress from the start. Things never got better, after no one checked on us, we Just chalked it up as we were forgotten about. No refills offered, or anything. Just the check. It became a little funny Bc we would watch other tables get service. The people setting next to us complained as we were leaving, and requested to move.
I’m not going to go into details with issues on the food, I feel like the service was our biggest issue. Just a heads up, don’t get the shrimp with the surf and turf.
I don’t always leave feedback, but after the poor service, and issue with the food, I feel like I needed to expresss my complaints.
Loved this place! I went here with my family for New Years. The restaurant is super cute and the menu was very tasty. Loved everything we ordered. A bit pricey for the portion size but worth it for a special occasion.
Great ambience, service was wonderful! The entree was excellent, just not quite hot which is why I gave the food a 4 star instead of 5
New Years Eve dinner
Food was wonderful except 2 people ordered steaks and they were very rare versus medium well like they ordered. The waiter wasn’t very friendly and seemed annoyed to be there.
Wonderful, as always...our go-to for an amazing dinner out
Delicious food, outstanding wine selection and such kind and impeccable service
great food! music a little loud. cordial waiters.
This was my first time at Sixty Vines and after hearing so many good things about it, I’m glad I finally got to experience it for myself! We started the meal with the crispy zucchini and burrata cheese toast appetizers, followed by the crab Louie salad and fig and prosciutto pizza. All the food and the different red wines we had were delicious! The service was amazing as well. Our server was very attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. I also really enjoyed the decor and ambience of the restaurant. The rustic nature of the place was nice to look at. Thank you, sixty vines, for a wonderful experience. It definitely did not disappoint!
Made reservation 3 days in advance an requested a nice table for special event. Upon arrival at 6:15 PM, although the beautiful main seating area was virtually un-seated and tables empty all around, we were given a table in an enclosed outside garden room. One of the meals ordered was not served as "rare" but instead came out med/well, so by the time it was replaced the other 3 in the party were basically finished with dinner. The waitress was not attentive as we had empty water glasses, was not asked how the food was until 1/2 thru the meal or if we needed anything (like ketchup for some fries). The waitress did not serve us the meals, some others did after carrying the food outside to the cold and back inside to the garden room. Very disappointing over-priced experience.
Visited to celebrate a family birthday.
Trent was awesome!! We are here weekly and love the food and service!!
Always a reliable, tasty spot. First time for lunch. Good.
Discovered Sixty Vines while looking for an ideal restaurant for a food and beverage expert visiting us. We have moved back to the area after three years away, so the restaurant was new to us. We consider it a great find, will definitely return, and will recommend it to friends and neighbors.
Coupled dinner, party of six ..had a reservation ...
i feel larger parties should be given an area less noisy, & not placed in the middle of dining room at a shared table ..my only complaint
Food was good, wine was great.
We used to like Sixty Vines but the quality of both food and service has declined.
My second time there. First was on a business trip. Took my wife for her 40th. She loved it. Great wine, Small beer selections, but what they have is probably the best in each class. We had roasted brussels and each ordered a pizza. TOO MUCH FOOD for the 2 of us, but the pizza made great leftovers later that night. It is pretty loud and energetic, but somehow our table for 2 still seemed private enough for a romantic dinner out. Restaurant is wide open, and most of the tables are long, seating 12 or so people for family style eating, so it was fun for people watching. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
We love 60 Vines! The wine selection is fantastic. The food is wonderful. We always have the Salumi and Cheese board to start and it never disappoints with it's local selections. The pasta dishes are second to none in the area. And the homemade apple chicken sausage in the Orecchiette makes me want a side dish of the sausage by itself. Service is great, wait staff is friendly. What more could you ask for!
So freaking good and 1/2 off wine on Wednesday’s! Everything is fresh and there are a ton of wine selections. Definitely going back soon.
We were seated promptly and the waiter appeared promptly. He needed some additional training on what to do like offering cracked pepper, grated Parmesan for the pasta, another wine when my glass was empty. He forgot our coffee but did offer a free one to go since we had already finished dessert.
Food was ok, but nothing special.
This was my second time at Sixty Vines. As like the first time, this time was excellent. I find the menu options to be quite intriguing, and everything I’ve had has been cooked to perfection. On this occasion, I had the salmon and it was outstanding. Cooked perfectly, seasoned fantastically, and accompanied by a wonderful array of grilled vegetables underneath, this was an excellent dish. My only qualm with the place is that the appetizer menu feels a bit limited for a place to serve such amazing food. But you’ll soon get over that when you experience the wide array of wines and the overall presentation and taste of the food.
As its name implies, Sixty Vines has a wide range of wines available. Everything from private label and quite delicious reds and whites to very exclusive and quite pricey ones as well. The good news is there’s something for everyone who enjoys a nice glass of wine.
If you haven’t tried Sixty Vines you should definitely give it a try. The quality of the food, the focus on attentive service, the ambience, and the overall vibe of the place is really cool. And it’s not so expensive that you can’t enjoy a very nice meal at a very reasonable price.
Outstanding food & service! Always enjoyable! Hostess seated us as requested.
Poor wine selection, over priced.
Enjoyed every bit of our experience
It was a great experience! I’ll be back! Loved the food and the decor
Went for our anniversary, stares it on my reservation and only received a happy anniversary from hostess nothing from server not even a mention from the server. Beer didn’t taste right either. Not sure I would rush back there again anytime soon
