It was great. We were seated in the family area as there was a large party at the back. As there were no families it was very quiet and we could talk easily as we celebrated a birthday.
Another good pub night.
Superb restaurant for celiacs. Our first time; we will be back.
The food and service are always great! We all really enjoyed our lunch
Always good, very quiet this night. Sat by the fire, there was music in the background but no so much to disturb. Staff as good as always.
Great fish and chips as always. Staff attentive and always a good meal. Beer cold welcome warm , what more do you want
Food took over an hour and we weren’t kept updated by our server on how long it would take and why it was taking so long. We didn’t receive any apology or any acknowledgement that the food took such a long time. Resulting meal was okay. For hash browns, they literally gave 5-6 per plate which is just ridiculous.
Plenty of safe choices for people with Celiac Disease; great service.
I wold not suggest the brunch buffet at all unless you can get an easiest seating. By 1230 the food was cold and most dishes had run out.
I've never written a review of a restaurant before but I thought this time I needed to.
I took my mom to Mother's Day Brunch and it was a complete disappointment. The way the brunch was set up, it took a long time to get through. Many of the dishes were empty and by the time we got back to our table, our food was cold. I heard quite a few of the customers complaining while waiting in line. The restaurant was very noisy ....I know a pub can be loud but this was way above the level we expected. I've been to the Six Mile before and have been happy with the food but not this time. It definitely was not worth the money and this will be our last brunch at the Six Mile.
overall was good but the chairs were very uncomfortable
I am here pretty regularly but this wasn’t the beat visit to be honest. Had a brunch reservation at arrived in time and seated ourselves. Service was initially quick and efficient and orders placed. We waited an hour and a quarter for our food to arrive. It did not appear to be that busy with empty tables surrounding us. On arrival the food was not hot, oh well, hungry at that point.
Maybe up to the usual standards next time
Our menu selections were quite good...two pasta dishes and an excellent salad, although the beets could have been a bit more flavorful.
This was a good meal we were able to confidently accommodate Celiac's, Vegans and those with no issues at all. A rare thing these days.
The food an service was very good.
The evening was enjoyed by all.
Great meal, pub was quiet so the bottom was closed and we were in the family area. Very quiet, Hayden was awesome as always as was Emily. Food was great and the carrot/ginger soup was exceptional. Thank you guys!
Love this place! Has the onion rings and whatever change to the batter or cooking method that was made was awesome! They were way better than usual! Wings and fries were great too. Never disappoints. All GF too which is a must for us with celiac disease.
We had a quiet table in the spot we requested. Server Hayden told us to order early and the kitchen was behind due to a birthday party. Rushed us some appy’s to keep us going. Nice tasty food when presented.
Regular haunt and open table makes booking a breeze.
Best pub food ever. Unique and delicious. I especially liked the yam salad that came with the duck pot pie.
Nice place for a meal and drinks with friends. Had a good experience and the server was fantastic! Would go again.
We were very pleased with the evening, a bit noisy as it was quite busy, hard to visit with friends, servupice exceptional.
Service ttok forever...got 7 wings for 15 bucks...greasy fish burger, never again. Sorry!
My daughter is highly Gluten allergic and we found the staff really knowledgeable about gluten free procedures . It was the first time we could relax while dining out and knew that she was safe . The bartender was excellent with knowng what liquors were gluten free and made recommendations about cocktails. Staff frequently checked with us and the food was excellent .
I would highly recommend this place to the celiac community and everyone else. We definitely will return
We went to six mile for dinner the other night as it has been a favorite of my families to show off to a friend from Vancouver. We had to sit in the family section as we had our 3 year old- which is fine as we always sit in that section. But there was only one server for the entire family section so it took a long time for drinks, refills and our food. I felt bad for the server but we were there for almost an hour and a bit before we even got our meals. Not great when you have a hungry 3 year old. Feel like the quality has diminished in the past few months , but will continue to give it a chance
Not as good as it used to be. Small dinner menu. Wont hurry back
Well done for such a busy Mothers Day. Reservation was seamless, staff friendly, and food great.
Congratulations to all of the staff for such a terrific job!
Went for brunch. There was no bacon or scrambled eggs. No bacon? Really? Also coffee is not included in the price of brunch, which is ridiculous. Food was decent. Service was great.
The best thing about this place is the quality of the food! It is a neat old building, not the most beautiful place, but you just can’t beat the food! I love the way they cater to allergies and good preferences, and their menu has so many great options. This is our favourite place to ride out to on the Galloping Goose Trail for lunch or dinner on the weekend.
I made a reservation through open table for 5 adults and 2 kids, when my brother arrived it wasn't set up at all and the server seemed to not even be aware of it. She rushed us to get our order in, which was semi appreciated once she explained there wasn't a group of 100 ordering soon as well. I had the Mediterranean falafel wrap, it was horrible. The kids sliders were super bland and had literally nothing on them. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. The drinks were pricey and mediocre. Overall, wouldn't so again for mothers day, bit would go back for a beer and appies.
We do their brunches for Easter and Mother’s Day. So good!!!
Excellent Easter Brunch just like last year. We love the food, value and that they go out of their way to make families welcome (in the family section so still good for pub goers - and the servers are amazing with the kids!). Loved the face painting again this year. And we adore coming in the summertime for a beer outside on the deck! The 6 Mile really has excellent food! We wish the pasta bar was year round! So delicious!
We went to Six Mile for brunch on Easter Sunday. We chose them because when looking online they had a nice, reasonable looking Sunday brunch menu. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was only an Easter Sunday Buffet...this was mentioned NO WHERE on the website. With two hungry kids we opted to stay for the buffet but ended up spending 3X what we were planning because there was no other option. While the food was delicious we were not happy with the cost. They really need to make sure those that made reservations online are aware of the menu change before we show up. Having it on their website would be ideal too.
Great food. Have been to this pub many times. Really Enjoyed the new menu options. Really pleased they have opted to be on open table
Great food and excellent Gluten Free dishes. Friendly and efficient service.
The service was great. Our waitress was busy but she was very attentive. We all enjoyed our dinner!! We will be back.
