Owners Richard Avery and Dean Zervos welcome you to what promises to be a superior casual dining experience. Our extensive hospitality background, which began with degrees in the culinary arts and restaurant management, has enabled us to open and manage top restaurants and clubs from New York City to Jacksonville, Florida. We have over forty years of experience and have cooked and hosted events for philanthropists, politicians, and celebrities including Howard Gilman; Bill and Hillary Clinton; Colin Powell; John F. Kennedy, Jr.; and Mikhail Baryshnikov. As the new owners of Simeon’s, we—along with Dean’s spouse Jamie, a trained pastry chef—commit ourselves to creating high quality food and desserts backed by excellent service. Our goal is to make Simeon’s the restaurant of choice for visitors and Ithacans alike. Our historic building itself may first draw you in, and we are confident the distinctive food and service will encourage you to return.

Was in town for a concert and after reading reviews I decided to give it a try, was glad I did. Brussel sprouts, kale salad and a rudabaga soup. Husband had the ahi tuna burger. Everything was excellent

This was my third visit to Simeon’s. The first two times were delicious and enjoyable. This time it was very loud and service was very slow. We waited almost 90 minutes for our entrees with very little info about what took so long. I was disappointed and not sure I’ll return.

The fried brussel sprouts and ricotta dumplings were delicious. Steak tartare was ok but comparatively tasteless.

Dined here while visiting Ithaca to look at Ithaca College. Location is great, right on the Commons in the heart of downtown. Decor left me a bit cold and concerned that food might be pretentious, but not to worry. Everyone very friendly. Menu is interesting with locally sourced items. Prices are reasonable. Service excellent. First time in Ithaca and it was a nice introduction.

Nice restaurant on Ithaca Commons. We both ordered the lobster roll special which I feel was mistake. The steak we saw looked very good. Dessert choices were limited.
